Viaggiare Rent - Verona Reviews 

The renting process was easy, staff was very polite and helpfull.

Everything was fine. No long waiting clue. Personal information has to be filled out by hand again at the collection of the car. Contact was friendly. return of the car was also possible outside the opening hour by a key box.
The parking lot handling was a little bit confusing. If you leave the parking lot you take a parking ticket, this one you will need to leave the airport area. To return the car, you also take a parking ticket to enter the airport area and you need this parking ticket again to access the return parking lot. Some information in advance would be great.

Rent car Verona, bad experience

Just rent a car in Verona, when I took the car I saw a Ray on the car and I come back to tell them, I did not check the roof of the car..
When I gave back the car they told me I did the ray and I show that I saw it before was ok, but it was one dent on the roof, they ask me to`pay 770 euros for this, I said no, I lost my caution
Just be very careful because they try to rip off you, is not a serious company

The service was brilliant from calls on the day before my flight to check times and advise me. They kept in touch throughout the day and when we had landed. The car was perfect for what we needed and both collection and drop off were swift and easy. Would use them again

Great experience from car pick-up to bringing the car back. Super easy and friendly staff. The car was great, super great on fuel, and modern with all necessary equipment such as air conditioning, Bluetooth, maps, Apple CarPlay, and many more. Payment processing was smooth and easy too! Would recommend and will use next time on my Italy trip. Thank you!

Arrived on time to collect the car. There was no one at the desk. Had to call and ask someone to show up. Received smaller car than booked. After returning the car was charged €25 for washing it. There was no mention about this charge anywhere before renting. I've been renting cars many years, it's the only company that expects a customer to go to a car wash just before returning. There are many reputable car rental companies. Avoid Viaggiare.

I was charged 25 euros for a dirty car .. despite showing pictures (see attached) that the car was dirty when I picked it up .. they still charged me .. so be aware you will be charged 25 euros if the car has some dust on it

Stay away Viaggare Verona airport , they fake damage after the drop off , they are dishonest and the staff is very rude I rent in Italy all the time many other option that this very unprofessional and again super dishonest, 700 euro in damage I didn’t cause plus they don’t honor the pictures taken

Staff very nice and helpful. The entire process of check in and check out went smoothly well. I would highly recommend them to anyone and definitely going to be renting a car with them again in the future.

Cheap and cheerful but will try and get you with 'penalties' (for dirt in the footwell, although there is nothing in our booking info and paperwork to say that you have to clean the car out yourself) and trying to blame you for scratches that were already on the car. Make sure you take your own pics before you drive away.

The service is terrible! We have car issue where the car is just dead . We waited from 11am to 6pm and we still can’t get hold of the so called roadside assistance! Even the company can’t get hold of their own roadside assistance. We have been calling the whole day to get someone to come down and can get of anyone! And we have wasted the whole day and our trip is ruined because we can’t move to the next city ! So we have wasted our time and money the whole day waiting from daytime to sunset !!! Ridiculous service! I have never experienced anything like that in my years of renting car in any other country all over the world except with this company! ! I would never ever recommend this car company to anyone !!! And right when I’m writing this review , we are STILL waiting for the roadside assistant to show up !!

A very positive experience, from the booking process through to dropping the car back

Lady, at reception was very helpful and informative, giving,simple, straightforward guidance about the rental. Return of car, very easy, and overall, the team at Viaggiare, were all very professional and friendly

No issues, great car,, fantastic service, go for it!

Everything went smoothly and the car was pretty new and clean. We got an automatic Fiat 500 even though we reserved manual, but it was fine for us. Reservation and web check-in were easy and fast, and woman at the service counter explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. We took the platinum insurance so we had no worries. Returning the car back to the agency went smoothly and there was already person waiting for us to check the car. After confirming that the car was okay, she released our deposit. I Would definitely use Viaggiare rent again if renting the car in Italy!

Nothing bad to say… My experience was an easy and pleasant. I think it’s a sign of the times that the vehicles have lots of mileage on them and some are a little scruffy. The vehicle drove well, so no real complaints from me.

I don't recommend using the service of Viaggiare,on arrival at verona airport after flight been 2hrs delayed , staff weren't very pleasant,one of our party had booked a car on his wifes credit card so as a result they couldn't rent that particular car, this was because of credit card needing to be owned by the driver of car and it wasnt booked that way,but they could offer same car at double the price using the same credit card. Another company near by looked after them for same price as orginally booked as their customer service was way above viaggiare, on returning my car staff were again rude and they charged me €25 because I hadn't washed car this is something they don't tell you at start but will insist they did, another way of milking money from people. Our party had 4 cars from different companies and I was only one to have this experience. Plenty of other great companies in verona airport, avoid this one
