I had a very pleasant experience.
Our flight was delayed , we missed the connection and when we were supposed to arrive the office would have been closed. Fortunately I had the pleasure to meet Terry over WhatsApp to help.
Thanks to her patience and her wish to help, we found a solution to let me the car. She saved my vacation !

I never leave bad reviews but we’ve had a very rude reception, not willing to communicate calmly, being disrespectful and ironic. We couldn’t get our car from her and eventually got it easily from another company. That would not have mattered had she behaved in the right way. I saw the exact same thing happen to a gentleman after us who also left without a car. Such a poor service, unacceptable.

I didn't have such a splash when I rented a car in the USA.They return the deposit when they think of it, and take it immediately

I had great time in Bari thanks to ‘Viaggiarerent’and staff member Tery. She has been so kind not only before renting a car but also when returning it. Even though we could not speak Italian, she tried to explain to us the regulations / things we need to know thoroughly by english. Thank you very much for such kindness Tery.

booked and prepaid a rental car in Bari through Discover Cars for approximately €150.

When I arrived at the rental desk of Viaggiare, I was informed that my Revolut Ultra debit card could not be used for the security deposit. The only alternative offered was to purchase additional insurance from the rental company for €177 — more than the cost of the rental itself.

As I had already travelled to Bari and had a prepaid reservation, I felt I had no realistic option but to pay the additional charge if I wanted to receive the vehicle.

The company later pointed to its terms and conditions, stating that customers using a debit card must purchase one of their additional coverage packages. While this may be contractually permitted, the customer experience was extremely disappointing. An unexpected mandatory charge exceeding the rental price, presented only at pickup, is not something I consider transparent or customer-friendly.

The car itself was fine, but the rental process left a very negative impression. I would strongly advise future customers to carefully check the payment card requirements and potential additional charges before booking.

Terry provides the car & supported us nicely. The car was fine and we didn't have any issues.
