After the last dollar
I was very disappointed to learn that I had to pay an additional month for VGI Internet after notifying you that I was canceling my service effective April 1 and had disconnected your equipment. This surprised me because, in my understanding, when a service is terminated, it is considered complete. On your website, it clearly states, "No Data Caps Or Contracts!" I interpreted this to mean there would be no binding terms or unexpected fees upon cancellation. However, being charged for a period after termination feels like a hidden contract with rules that weren’t clearly communicated. As a loyal customer, I paid the $62.99 invoice, but as a provider, I feel you accepted my payment for a service period I did not use. This experience has left me dissatisfied. For what it’s worth, I’ve spoken with three neighbors about this. One is following my lead and switching to Starlink, citing that VGI Internet is “down or slow more than up.” The other two have also experienced intermittent to unusable service, similar to what I encountered, and are considering switching to AT&T. I plan to share my experience—particularly the discrepancy between your "no contract" advertisement and this additional charge—with as many people as I can.On a positive note, I want to commend your team in the San Angelo office. They are an outstanding group of individuals, and I will miss working with them.
