IAS Vevox Review

I love the ability to reach a large audience at scale, and make learning fun! As an admin, the interface is extremely easy to use and the creation of quizzes is simple. It doesn't take a ton of training to understand and things can be set up extremely quickly, which helped us pivot when we had to move our event from in person to virtual.

At the time we had to use it, there was not a Google Slide integration. I would say this was the biggest challenge we had but now that this is live, we will need to test it and see how it works for us.

One other thing is it would be nice to create one long session but still break up leader boards for specific topics in that section. This is easiest for admin and users so they don't need to continue to log in and out of sessions for Vevox and everything can be in one session but still accurate data.

Overall I have enjoyed working with Vevox and it was a great tool for our CKO event, especially when switching to a virtual environment. Additional webinars or trainings would always be helpful as I am a hands on learner over reading help center articles.

Fantastic Customer Service

I have been working with Dominic Freeman for the last few years, and he is always so kind and responsive. He quickly provides answers to my questions, and I always know that I can count on him to assist me. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I will be taken care of. Fantastic customer service!

Effortless Setup and Outstanding Support

I use Vevox for corporate events on a custom platform. It negates the need for in-house system development, offering user-friendly templates for Q&A and voting, excellent customer support, and easy setup. I suggest more customization options via CSS for improvement. Overall, I rate it 10/10, preferring it over Slido, mainly for its superior customer service.

Really helpful sales and support

Dominic was really helpful and took me through a brief demo and explained the product. He setup test accounts and allowed us to trial the product before making a decision. The product itself was easy to use and feature rich.

Quick Response, Tailored Demo, and All Questions Answered

Perfect platform for moderated Q&A

We used Vevox for an event at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with both in-person and online audiences, and it worked flawlessly. The interactive Q&A was exactly what we needed — attendees could simply scan a QR code to join, and the moderation tools made it easy to manage which questions appeared on screen. We really liked that moderation could be delegated to others, and that we could spotlight and control content from a secondary device, meaning I didn’t have to be up in the AV suite during the event. The ability to customise what was shown on participant devices and on the main screen gave us a fully branded experience that looked fantastic. Everything ran smoothly and reliably — we’d highly recommend Vevox for any hybrid or live event needing seamless audience engagement.

I’ve been working with Vevox for three…

I’ve been working with Vevox for three years now, and particularly with Dominic Freeman. We had a long video call at the beginning to go through the app and the interface, and since then I’ve been using it every year for one of my events. My clients love it — polls, quizzes, and more. I highly recommend this app: it’s complete, easy to use, and fully customizable.

When I had questions, I got an answer within 1 day. Very helpful support.
I really like the ability to edit new quiz questions within PowerPoint. I really like that there are many different types. One of the best polling and Q&A platforms what I know.

Flexible and easy to use!

As a Learning Technologist, I support lecturers from all of our university’s faculties who use Vevox to engage students across the entire spectrum of class sizes, from small seminars to large lecture halls, and the feedback I’ve received is overwhelmingly positive. Vevox has helped them get real-time insights into student understanding, and features like word clouds, polls, and Q&A have made a huge difference in class participation.
