Great design, but disappointing quality
I purchased a No. 4 bag and, unfortunately, the quality has not lived up to my expectations.
Within just a couple of weeks, the zipper broke, and one of the handles ripped away from its attachment point. When I contacted the company, I was told that they do not offer repairs. I find this disappointing, particularly given the relatively high price of the bags.
I eventually took the bag to a professional shoemaker for repair. They pointed out that the rivets intended to reinforce the seams are essentially decorative: they do not actually go through the leather loop that is sewn to the bag, are too short and therefore provide no additional reinforcement.
I really like the design and overall aesthetic of these products, but unfortunately, in my experience, the quality and durability do not match the price. I expected considerably better construction from a premium product.
