Third new bike off this dealership . Steve Brown handled all sales in the same manner . Straightforward transaction and very professional . Helped me through bike choice and option and located a bike that he delivered within 7 days . Helped me through transfer of private plate and all changeover . Steve kept the new bike excitement going through pictures of the bike as it arrived and again the day before collection. Even booked first service on collection day to make sure I was booked in ready for the Summer . Well done Vertu and thanks Steve .👏👏👏

Avoid Ducati Sunderland! - Unsafe bike delivered…
Unsafe bike delivery and poor handling of a serious issue.
I bought a brand new Ducati from Vertu Motorcycles, and within a few metres of first moving it—at walking pace on a dry road—the front tyre suddenly slid out, causing a fall that left me with stitches, bruising, and over £1,600 of damage to the bike.
Despite repeatedly asking, I was given no tyre pressure readings, no PDI evidence, and no explanation for how a brand new motorcycle could lose grip like that. My messages were read but ignored.
The dealership’s response included inaccurate statements and avoided addressing the core safety issue. Instead of investigating, they focused on irrelevant comments and even advised me not to contact my insurer.
A new motorcycle should be delivered in a safe, roadworthy condition. In my case, this clearly did not happen, and the follow up was extremely disappointing.

Purchased my new XRM , last Friday, Easy transaction, Used this dealership over the last 4 BMW for service.
This is my very first new one off them .
Very happy with all the staff I have meet over the years.
All communication done over the phone or by email, With Michael North who is very knowledgeable and made the whole purchase a breeze .
Collection was last Friday and was very quick and easy .
Only criticism I would say there no direct number anymore get put though to somewhere else and they get the person to ring you back .

I just want to leave a quick note on my experience with Vertu BMW Shipley
From the first moment me and my wife walked in to the show room we were meet with warm friendly greetings.
Richard came over and asked if we needed anything with no pressure whatsoever and any questions we had were answered efficiently.
We bought a new bike that day and the difference between BMW Shipley and other bike showrooms is stark (Ducati Leeds take note)

This is the third bike I Have bought from Vertu Shipley. On each occasion Rick has made the whole process seamless for me, a great product and great service.
