We originally visited The Oaks sales office in Skipton and placed an early bird reservation on a plot due for completion in Spring 2027. Having seen the quality and design of Skipton Properties’ homes, we were more than happy to wait in order to secure our first home.

Unfortunately, due to our rental property being sold and the timings no longer aligning, we had to withdraw from our reservation. Throughout this, Karen and the rest of the team were incredibly understanding and supportive, which we really appreciated during what was a stressful time.

We ultimately went on to purchase a home built by Skipton Properties around seven years ago. While it wasn’t quite the brand-new build experience we had originally planned, we were genuinely delighted to still secure one of their homes. Even after seven years, the quality is exceptional and really highlights the level of care, detail, and craftsmanship that goes into their developments.

Having moved from an older rented terrace, the difference is remarkable - our home feels modern, energy efficient, and extremely well built, despite not being brand new.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Skipton Properties (now Verity & Co) to friends and family. There’s no other developer we would trust more.

We recently purchased our new home at Pendle Farm Worsthorne. Our experience from start to finish was very positive. Karen in the sales office is lovely. very helpful and knowledgeable answering all our queries and any concerns we had.
Gary the site manager is great. He is always on hand keeping you updated on the progress of your build.
We’ve been living in our new home for two months now and any small snags have been dealt with promptly by Rosie.
All the team on site are all very friendly and they have all added to our journey being a positive experience. Thank you Karen and Gary nothing was too much. We love our new home the quality of the build and the fixtures and fitting are all to a very high standard we couldn’t be happier

Skipton properties are brilliant builders, we’ve only had very small problems as you do with new builds, Rosie and the team have been brilliant everything was sorted very quickly with no problems can’t praise you all highly enough well done.

They live up to their promise a family run company delivering quality homes . The customer service is great especially the after care . As a retired single lady it’s reassuring to know they want to resolve any issues and they have .

It is nearly a year since we bought our house from Skipton Properties and from the start of the buying process, hand over and after service, the staff have been exceptional.
The build quality of our new home is excellent, but inevitably some issues are bound to arise.
Some snags were pointed out to us on handover and were dealt with the day after. Any problems we have identified have been rectified promptly. Rosie in customer care has been particularly helpful. The tradespeople are so friendly and efficient.

Thank you brilliant staff for all your efforts, it is very much appreciated. We love our new home!

We cannot rate Skipton Properties highly enough! Having previously owned 3 new build homes we can say with all honesty that Skipton Properties are by far the best. From the word go we have been helped enormously by Karen Douglas (The Alders) in the sales department. During most of the sales process we were travelling overseas and Karen pulled out all the stops to ensure that our purchase went seamlessly. She has been outstanding. The very few snags we have had have been dealt with, almost instantly and very professionally by Rosie and her team. We can only hope that Skipton Properties continue to build fine homes and the company goes from strength to strength. Thank you from us both.

I have been into the sales office at Pendle Farm a number to times, enquiring about properties on the development. The Sales Advisor (Frankie), has always been really accommodating and helpful. Frankie is knowledgeable on both the development and its stages of build, along with the wider community and surroundings. Frankie clearly knows the area and product that is being sold. Such a friendly welcome on all of my visits. Frankie is clearly an asset to Skipton Properties.

Massive thanks to Frankie. From our first tentative enquiry to meeting her for a viewing she's been a Star. Knowledgeable, friendly and answered a barrage of questions we've had. Resulting in the Purchase of our New Home.

I have just moved into The Willows, Silsden. The location is fabulous. The customer service and support with the move into my new house has been 1st class and of course the build is outstanding. The little extras you get with a Skipton Properties build makes it easy to move in and get going straight away. There were only a few very minor snags but the excellent customer care service meant they were sorted within 24 hours. Iam looking forward to many happy years in my Skipton Properties house. Having lived in our family home for 25 years it was time to move to Yorkshire to be nearer to our boys who have settled locally. Our experience with Skipton Properties has been fantastic. Everyone needs a Karen Douglas as part of their team as she has been amazing helping us through the ups and downs of moving house including when the chain fell apart. Once moved in the few snagging issues have been expertly managed by Rosie immediately. We have been impressed with the build quality and thoughtful little touches that have been built into the house. Moving house is always stressful but the team at Skipton Properties have made it manageable and so much easier than it could have been. Thank you.

We moved into our new Skipton Properties home in August and the house instantly felt like home. Skipton Properties have gone above and beyond to make the process as simple and enjoyable as possible. The house is built to perfection and the craftsmanship inside is exceptional. All the materials, fittings and fixtures are the best quality. The house is bright, warm and quiet thanks to the beautiful windows, excellent insulation and well thought out site plan. We are very grateful to everyone involved especially the sales team who couldn't do enough to make our home perfect. I am confident we will live here for the rest of our lives. Coming from one new-build development to another; the quality of the build, finish and service at Skipton Properties has been far superior to previous experiences. In the month we have lived in the property, there have been no snagging issues.
Frankie, our sales advisor, was extremely helpful and approachable. She ensured our buying and selling experience was as smooth as possible and helped us quickly resolve any issues that arose along the way.

We purchased our first home through Skipton Properties and as first-time buyers were extremely grateful for how seamless they made the whole process. The house was finished to an exceptional standard, our snagging survey only identifying a handful of snags which were dealt with promptly and with minimal disruption (thanks to Craig the Site Manager and Rosie from Customer Care).

The sales advisor was a little new to the sight but problems were quickly referred and generally resolved.
The site foreman,David,an oasis of calm and very helpful.

Bought a new build house in June 2023 it all moved very quickly from selling our old property to moving in. Karen Douglas was absolutely brilliant and is a credit to Skipton Properties and one of the main reasons we decided to progress with a purchase on the site.
We moved in and had a few snags that were promptly addressed but we did have one large issue which was regarding the access for our car getting onto the street with the unfinished roads. I must say although it took some time to fully resolve and there were, frustrations along the way with higher management the on the ground team were always helpful and understanding. People took the time to appreciate our issue and tried to temporarily resolve the situation to allow us to be able to drive to and from our property. All workers that I have come across dealing with our internal snags from joiners, the plumber and the painter and decorator have been great and accommodating of what we have needed. The only reason I have provided 4 stars and not 5 is due to some mentioned frustrations with higher management and I would always want to leave an honest review. Overall we love our home and enjoy living on the new estate. Credit once again to Karen who truly is brilliant at her job and an all round lovely person.

We bought out first home at The Alders with Skipton Properties, and overall, it has been a brilliant experience. Whilst we had some small snags these were promptly resolved by the site team without much drama, and the house build quality is excellent. I must also say that Karen Douglas is a credit to Skipton Properties' sales team, having gone the extra mile to make sure that the sales process was as smooth as possible, and has always been happy to keep us updated on the build progress for the site.

We have been very happy with Skipton properties. They made our buying and selling experience very easy for us. As we had a newborn baby they allowed us the flexibility of moving in over a few days and sorted out any issues very quickly. We love our new home!

A company who cares about their customers, and the build is sympathetic with the countryside location, Karen Douglas sales person at The Alders, Skipton was fantastic with her help throughout the process from choosing a home to handing over the keys at the end. Only had 2 minor snags to report and these were dealt with within days (thank you to Rosie!) A wonderful surprise was the Hamper from Skipton Properties which had everything you could need when moving in from toilet roll, coffee, wine and much more! so useful.

At Bridge Street Stone Ltd, we have worked with Skipton Properties for many years. They are easy to work with and have a good working knowledge of the products they buy as well as the practical issues of production and delivery. This enables deliveries to be scheduled and keeps the projects on time. They do pay on time too!
