Arrived heavily damaged, company refused to do anything

I've ordered quite expensive paint, 434 euro for 2 buckets. Buckets arrived damaged, one bucket was heavily smashed. These were heavy pots 7 kg each in very large box with some paper inside. There is no question that they beat each other during transportation. Ok, happens. The problem is that the company refused to do anything with it. After many requests for photos and videos, they said that they think that paint is fine inside damaged bucket, and there will be no actions from their side. I didn't pay for heavily damaged pots, definitely not 434 euro. I bought very particular paint color, and I don't want it be with pieces of broken metal or rusted metal (i had such experience before with much less damaged bucket).

Company refused to accept return of the order (I notified about problem at the same day it arrives). No compensation or discount was proposed. Basically, they do not care.

Client service below standard

I have purchased from this shop twice, both times it was paint.
First time everything was OK, except one of the tins was not mixed (as in, they put the colour in but did not shake it...had to mix myself).

Second time, I purchased three tins of paint on 23.06.2023.
Received two of three tins on 24 June. The third tin was damaged and PostNL sent it back to sender.

Since I received no communication regarding the replacement or reimbursement, I called Verfwebwinkel on Monday 26 June.
They have asked me if I prefer a replacement or a return. I explained that I have the workers on site, and therefore I was only interested in replacement if it arrives ASAP. The service representative assured me the paint would be arrive Wednesday morning (28.06), so we agreed on a replacement.
By Wednesday afternoon no paint, no message. Workers are on site with nothing to do.
I called the shop again on 29.06 and it turned out no replacement has ever been ordered (!), they played me for a fool and asked who I talked to before (they would know better than me?!).
I no longer wanted a replacement, asked for a refund instead. NB there is information on Post.NL site, dated 24 June: "Shipment is damaged, return to sender", so the shop knows full well I did not receive the item.

It is now 14.07.2023, so over two weeks from my last contact with the shop, and the sum of 231.5 eu has not hit my account.

Just called them again and they will "start an investigation". Keeping my fingers and toes crossed...
I do not recommand this company.

Edit to say that I have also contacted them via whatssup, and while they were very quick to respond to queries for information, they stopped responding to my messages regarding the missing item and refund.
