Slow delivery. Intl Sizing. Confusing service interaction
First time shopping Velvan.com but, it just feels shaky, like an offshore retailer enticing you with low prices and a nice website but, slow fulfillment followed by even slower response to returns or exchange queries in a straightforward manner.
I ordered three items ($100+) in my normal U.S. XL size which took 2 weeks to arrive and, they were 3x smaller than I can wear and even weirder, the original size/material/brand tags were cut out from the neck of the sweaters to even allow me to confirm they were indeed XL's.
So, I sent their Support@velvan site three emails with no response while their return policy clock ticks down (i.e. 30 day return window). After five emails, an individual offers -20% (then -40%) refund ($48 of the $110 spent) for me to keep the tiny clothing items.
After declining that option, they then tell me that they do not currently have a warehouse address to return items to in order to receive a FULL refund?
I'm empathetic to small business. I like the quality of the sweaters, I just cannot wear what is essentially a Mens small and cannot seem to get refunded or exchanged. Frustrating.
Bottom line, in an Amazon world, interacting with this this merchant is a gamble and just way harder and more time consuming than necessary...at least make exchanging items (or refunds) easier please!
