Everything was extremely well explained…

Everything was extremely well explained at all stages. From my initial consultation to my treatment options and follow up aftercare. Although it wasn't the cheapest procedure, I do feel it was worth the outlay and I am glad I decided to go ahead. It is now 4 months since my initial treatment and I am very pleased with the improvement in my veins and they are continuing to improve as time goes by.

Disappointing aftercare

I had a procedure in February. Staff were friendly and professional and I was told no further treatment would be needed. I then did not feel I was healing well and emailed to ask for advice. I was told to keep waiting. I emailed and called over the following weeks when there was still no improvement. I was asked to email in pictures which would be shown to the specialist and I would be contacted. I did send in images but was never contacted - I really had to push to get a follow up appointment.
I have had further treatment and will need more treatment. After 12 weeks my leg looks worse than it did before which is both disappointing and expensive. I would encourage anyone to be ready to advocate for themselves to get a follow up appointment if needed, budget to spend more than you think and make sure you do not throw away the stockings if you are told you won’t need another appointment as you will need to pay £60 for more!

Everyone at the vein center were…

Everyone at the vein center were polite, informative and understanding from my first appointment right through to my final appointment. My leg looks and feels so much better and I am so happy I had the treatment done

Very disappointed!

I made an appointment 2 months prior. On the day of the appointment I went to the clinic ( it was a 1.5 hours drive)to find it closed and to be told that my appointment has been cancelled .. and that someone tried to contact me the day before to let me know. They didn’t leave a voicemail or any kind of message but on the other hand, I was sent reminders about my appointment via text and email.
Later on, I have sent an email to say how disappointed I was and that I have decided not to rebook my appointment and asked for a refund of my deposit, but I am still waiting for a reply and my refund of course.. good luck if you decide to trust them!

Staining after EVLA and foam on one leg

So after EVLA and foam on one leg. 4 months on I am left with substantial staining along the whole vein on the front of my thigh. It looks 100 times worse than before I started. They show you a picture of potential staining which looks nothing like as bad as mine. There is a chance it may fade overtime but the consultant said not totally. For people considering it I would really pay attention and research staining after the procedure before making decision. So for me…. Deeply disappointing and if I had my time again I would not have had the procedure

Satisfactory

Contact with the service via telephone was somewhat hit and miss when trying to make a payment.

Vein treatment

Everything from start to finish was excellent.Went above and beyond.Nothing to much trouble . Made to feel comfortable and service from Dc Mark Bratby and his wonderful nurse assistant Cathy was impeccable. Best treatment to date.Have used twice and highly recommend.

Treatment in April.

I was so privileged to have Consultant Mark Bratby perform my procedure in April. His skill, intelligence, reassuring kindness, sense of humour and concern were all palpable and of great relief to me. He dealt with my nervousness brilliantly and I feel so grateful that the Vein Centre were asked by the NHS to intervene to lower waiting lists. All the other staff whom I encountered were wonderful too. Thank you all.

Putting the price up literally in front of me!…

Good apart from putting the prize up by £100 just after the consultant told me the old price, literally in front of me the receptionist whipped the price card out of his hands & said they went up on 1st April by £100!
