Account locked for 9+ months with substantial assets — support unresponsive

I have been a verified Vaultoro user since November 2021. The account holds substantial assets — well over USD 30,000 in BTC at current prices. Between June and November 2024, I successfully completed six BTC withdrawals without issue, demonstrating that the account is fully legitimate and operationally sound.

In August 2025, Vaultoro requested re-verification. When I attempted to comply, I was blocked by the same 2FA login loop I had previously experienced in March 2024 — the system accepts the password and reset flow, but continues to require a 2FA code on the next login. I opened ticket #8312 on August 20, 2025, with screenshots documenting the failure across approximately ten login attempts.

Silya from Vaultoro Support replied on August 22, 2025, stating: "I'll keep this ticket open. If the KYC fails, please send us a message and we'll complete it manually." I cannot complete KYC because I cannot log in — the loop is closed. I responded immediately. There has been no further contact for over nine months.

What makes this particularly frustrating: the same problem occurred in March 2024 (ticket #7381), and was eventually resolved in June 2024 by submitting a selfie holding ID plus a handwritten note via the secure file upload portal. The recovery procedure is documented, demonstrably effective, and on file under my registered email. The new team need only re-issue the secure upload link.

I have written today (May 10, 2026) to both Elena (who announced the change in management on November 5, 2025) and to Vaultoro Support referencing ticket #8312. I am posting this review to ensure my case is documented publicly, and to inform other users that long-standing accounts with significant balances are currently being locked out without effective remediation.

I remain fully cooperative and available for live KYC video verification at any time. I will update this review as soon as my account is restored.

Trying to withdraw my Bitcoin has been…

Trying to withdraw my Bitcoin has been a struggle. They keep asking for more and more documentation even though I was already verified. It feels like they are intentionally delaying payouts. I’m starting to regret not just buying physical gold locally. Avoid the headache.

I opened and verified my account…

I opened and verified my account recently and made a deposit. Everything seemed fine at first, but when I logged in yesterday, my balance was gone. I've contacted customer service several times with no response. I like the direction my account is heading on #century 100 . It seems well run, and accessing my money has been smooth.

I have tried to have my Identity verified

I have tried to have my Identity verified as requested for my existing Vaultoro account but have received an error message on each attempt. Despite numerous messages requesting help on their support email i have had no response from them. There is no way to escalate my request and no number to call, i am very worried especially after reading all the other complaints on this forum

Withdrawal pending since 30 October — still waiting for completion

I am sharing my experience to help other users understand the current withdrawal timelines at Vaultoro.

I submitted a withdrawal request for my Bitcoin on 30 October 2025, but it has still not been processed. Over the past weeks I have received various explanations (manual processing, technical issues, compliance checks), but no confirmed withdrawal or TXID.

On 21 November, Vaultoro asked me to resubmit my ID and a selfie for KYC. I provided these immediately.

On 27–28 November, Vaultoro informed me that a live KYC video call would now be required before the withdrawal can be completed. I offered multiple time slots (1–3 December), but as of 5 December 2025, no appointment has been scheduled and no meeting link has been sent.

I remain fully cooperative and available, and I am only waiting for Vaultoro to schedule the verification they have requested.

I am posting this to document my experience and to ask whether other Vaultoro users have recently experienced similar withdrawal delays or additional verification steps.

I hope my withdrawal will be processed soon, and I will update this review immediately once the issue is resolved.

Don't - just don't!

They will not execute transactions for weeks, if at all. Customer support takes months to respond. No audit trails for one's gold/crypto. Starting to look very scam like since Josh Scigala left. I doubt that they will even respond to this review. I wish I had never had any dealings with them...

Possibly close to a SCAM

I tried to withdraw my BTCs but the transaction don't start; I contacted the support and they replied "Your recent BTC withdrawal to (btc address) has been held. A member of the team will need to authorise this transaction. We will get this resolved for you as soon as possible."

And then nothing.

Stay away from Vaultoro

Update
After 3 weeks they executed my withdrawal. Now I'm waiting them to execute the very last one

basic operation is solid but shaky foundations

basic operation is solid, and the gold/bitcoin
trading and holding opportunity is something I want, however I have been with them for 3-4 years now and have noticed the promise has changed/has become more limited. Before you could check your holding in gold, you knew the audit trail. Now, it's just a vague development in insurance backing. The original founders have left. Some trading features have been removed. As empathised with other customers, service requests typically replies 2 days later with stock responses which don't give you a sense of a) there is someone who will help you sort the problem or b) they actually know how. Gave me a bad gut feeling, checked the companies house records, balance sheet is negative (more liabilities than assets) no assurance that their funds are separate from customer accounts. As of Dec 23, they only had 3 employees. I withdrew my funds as soon as I got access to my account (no help from customer service after 2 weeks). IF there is no clear plan or substantial investment, I think they should stop signing people up and give back the funds to the clients. It would make me feel a whole lot better if the company could account for clients' funds in a transparent way and if customer service/client verification was efficient and effective.

Don't give Vaultoro your money - It's a SCAM

I was able to access my Vaultoro account when suddenly I neede 2 factor authentication to access my account. I have not been able to access my account since then because of the cold and uncaring attitude of the individuals working for the 3rd party support. There is no way to contact Vaultoro directly by email or phone, despite the fact they claim to be regulated. I have requested help several times from support and they keep giving me the run-around and sending me down dead ends, then they stop "helping" and there's no more communication. I believe they intend to keep me locked out and steal my funds. I agree with the people here who say it's a scam. From my experience it most definitely is. Don't give them your money. It's a scam.

balance disappeared

I opened and verified my account a couple weeks ago. Deposited 100€+ and gained 1/2 gram gold bonus. Yesterday accessed my account and my total balance was zero.
Wrote many times to customer service with no response. Still waiting for them to contact me

I was unable to login to my Vaultoro…

I was unable to login to my Vaultoro account and report the issue to them. In the meantime I learn that some friends of mine was also unable to login so I tell that to the Vaultoro support guys and they immediately investigate and reply to me that steps was taken on their side and what I need to do on my side to resolve the issue and I'm back in!!! Great service guys!

I first met the guys from Vaultoro in 2014. They've been around since then but i only had personal experience with the platform this year. I can't believe it took me so long. It's fantastic if you care about Gold or crypto. Kudos guys

Worth 10 stars.

This is a very unique service not many exchanges offer this kind of support and dedication. They have great email support, Interface is good and most of all the prices are pretty accurate too. I only wish they had silver and other cryptos to exchange with. Keep up the good work guys.
