Poor customer service

The customer service is slow to respond and has generally been unhelpful. The instructional video provided for changing the part I needed had no audio other than whispering that wasn’t in English, and it wasn’t even my model of scooter. They are more interested in closing a support ticket than actually helping the customer.

Kick stand failure and replacement problems

Varla makes a good product for sure. They need to expand their online store to include the Falcon parts. When I needed to replace the kick stand I purchased the he closest model which is the Pegasus. While it wasn't there fault it didn't fit there was no other option. I contacted customer support twice and they finally responded after the 2nd attempt. After a lot of back and forth they finally sent me an invoice for the Falcon kick stand. So on top of 40 dollars for the first one it was another 32 dollars for the second one. They did discount the second one but the whole process was poorly executed. Also the only reason I needed the part was because they used cast aluminum. I get wanting to save weight but steel has more give and flexibility. Bad design really.q
Overall try his is my second one so again mostly well built and good prices.

Purchased a Varla Eagle One V3.0

Purchased a Varla Eagle One V3.0
It arrived yesterday damaged in the box and with rust of some screw heads.
The plastic above the charging ports was missing a screw and the plastic it was holding in looked like it had ripped. The grip tape had wear and was damaged just below the charging ports. THATS NOT ALL. After getting it set up, I decided to give it a test ride to make sure things worked properly and am I sure GLAD I did. less than 30 minutes of being out of the box It made a loud pop, jolted forward and turned off. I haven’t gotten it to turn back on since. I decided to google around. Some said just try leaving it on the charger overnight. Still nothing this morning. Customer support hasn’t gotten back to me. Hopefully it’s the Beatrice, I spoke to her when buying the scooter, she seems to be the only one that’s competent at Varla.

EDIT: I left the same review on their website under the Varla Eagle One V3.0 and guess what?, It’s not visible. No surprise there…

I used the scooter for a couple of days, one rainy day I left it at home and the back tire got wet and it didn't work anymore, I haven't been able to use it for almost a month, I still haven't received the accessories that were supposed to help it work, I asked for an exchange or a refund but they want to charge me for half of the equipment when it's basically new, taking into account that the first few days I ran out of battery after traveling just 20 miles, when it's supposed to last twice as long, I feel very disappointed with the product and I insist, I haven't been able to use it enough to give it a good opinion, it simply stopped working.

Mostly good customer service, bad quality products

Varla has extremely middling product quality, but their scooters are fun for a short while. On paper and for a short while of owning their scooters, everything seemed great. Unfortunately, after a couple months of ownership everything goes downhill. My first scooter from the company, the Eagle One, the stem broke (area where the handlebars connect to the scooter) and detached from the scooter, sending me to the hospital for stitches. My second scooter, the Eagle One Pro, went well for the first half of ownership ignoring the fact that a lot of features either didn't work or weren't shipped with the scooter. Unfortunately, i've had to replace almost every single stem bolt and add copious amounts of loctite because they all come loose in the end, which make the wheel wobble like crazy and make the handlebars detached from the scooter AGAIN. It was only a couple weeks ago when the entire back wheel fell off the scooter (from a snapped suspension bolt.)
One saving grace of the company is their relatively good customer service, notably from Sylvia and Mark. Their responses are slow due to time zones but professional and deal with the situation perfectly. However, other employees use chatgpt or completely broken english to communicate which i did not appreciate.

Overall, Varla is a good brand if you don't plan on using their scooters long term with normal riding or doing anything more than going slowly on a perfectly paved trail.

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have emailed and now I will resort back to posting on all social media sites again and report the latest update as your company refuses to respond. I spent $2000 on a Varla Eagle Pro. From the time I purchased it, there were brake problems. The scooter has 84 miles on it and cannot be ridden as it has no brakes. Service sent me a you tube video for a brake flush. I had to hire someone to do this. The brake problem still occurred. Varla sent me new parts for brakes. They had set up a meeting with me on Friday for 6pm my time to walk through installation. I rescheduled my day around this technical support help that Melo from Varla scooter was going to provide. Friday morning I received a call that they did not realize it was Saturday their time. No problem. I asked if I could schedule something on Sunday my time, which is Monday their time for them to provide service. NINE emails later and one phone call, nada. No response. This is completely unacceptable. My Friday and Sunday were ruined due to false promises. And I have ZERO use of a $2ooo scooter. I will now resort to posting on Social Media that customers should not purchase this scooter. Once you make a purchase, you are nothing, And no one is willing to assist. All FALSE PROMISES

have Patience it’ll come eventually… hopefully

I Ordered 2 brakes disc and 2 tires on 5/7/2025 was told I would recieve order in 10days. 5/15 shipped for disc were made. When my disc were finally shipped I didn’t receive the initial shipment. Through tracking it Was out for delivery for 5 days. Then It was “shipped to a drop box” that I never requested. When I reached out to varla they told me

“Thanks for reaching out! I asked our logistics department to contact FedEx to see what happened. Our warehouse contacted the logistics company and they said the package has been delivered. Although it is the logistics company's responsibility, we decided to resend you a disc for free. I have created a new order for you. Please check it.”

I ordered 2 brake disc not 1 and only recieved 1 brake disc. I had to request a refund for the second one. They gave it to me but I still need another brake disc

6/27 I finally received notification about my tires.

I love the scooter it’s amazing but not being honest or straight forward about how long this will take is inconsiderate

Both tires on the scooter were flat when it was delivered to me. I repumped the tires, but the rear tire continues to deflate gradually, despite my minimal usage and frequent re-pumping of the scooter. It's been trying to get customer service to fix the issue, but no luck so far.
