I’ve gone through several courses, and they’re excellent for players of all levels, from beginners to advanced. They do a fantastic job of breaking down, gamifying, and teaching key concepts of the game.

These courses are perfect for anyone who loves the game, especially those who value the core tenet of VT: being a good opponent!

Bought the course and watch it again and again, amazing!

The courses are brilliant, continually updated and cater for everyone, whether a seasoned player or a newbie wanting to learn and get playing. The boys and girls are VT are also very friendly, helpful and insightful. And you can see they continually strive to improve the service they are delivering. You might wonder about the cost, but when you see the amount of content, you see why and know it is value for money - 100%.

I recently got the opportunity to play boarding actions, face to face with the Vanguard Tactics team at Warhammer World during their anniversary event. My friends and I had a varying level of experience (my friends have never played before, I have been playing for 12 years), and the team was very accommodating. I enjoyed learning the intricacies of the game mode while learning some transferable tactics that can be utilised for my casual 40K games. Thank you Vanguard Tactics for an awesome time!

The VT Academy is a fantastic course. The modules walk you through the entire process, teaching you everything from the basic mechanics of the game to advanced competitive insights that will have you not just tournament ready, but with a good chance of doing well. The VT Academy took me from a new player, not really understanding all the rules, making frequent mistakes and feeling overwhelmed to being able to compete in tournaments and hold my own. The skills I’ve learned have even brought me to a place where one member of Team Canada now makes time frequently to play against me, so I must be doing something right!

My favourite VT product has been the Blood Angels masterclass. With the skills from the Academy as my foundation, the BA class provided tools to create an army that I’m having tremendous success with. I strongly recommend it to all BA players.

Finally, the importance of being a great opponent is an enormously valuable takeaway from this experience. Everyone I play against appreciates it. Some people appreciate so much it makes instant gaming buddies out of them, and our 40K club grows. You don’t ever win a 40K game by agonizing over things like model rotation or base sizes, you win by being a sound general, with a good list, finely honed tactics, and a positive and sportsmanlike attitude.

I would recommend VT to any 40K player who wants to improve their game. 5 stars.

I just finished the Sisters of Battle Masterclass and it was amazing. I am in the process of creating my first Army and the fact that they help you identify auto includes and give you alternatives in case of points changes helps so much. After the recent BDS changes this helped me decide exactly where to start to re-write my list and I know what to buy first. Thank you VT.

I was always on the fence about spending gut money to try and improve and indeed learn the newest edition of Warhammer but I took the leap and couldn’t be happier with the results, the coaches are super helpful and the community has been amazing even making friends along the way.
Even with the masterclasess for the factions I enjoy it helps provide an insight into what I want to play and a good way to play them so it’s fun for me and my opponent

The masterclass not only helps you understand the army from the perspective of a player of it, it also helps you understand their strengths and weaknesses so when you play them at an event you know how to beat them. I main daemons but I am learning sisters and the sisters masterclass has helped me understand the army so I feel confident playing them at events!

I took the T’au masterclass and enjoyed it so much I started a T’au army. I have since started a few others. Great not only if you want some useful tips on your own army or to develop counter strategy’s

Taken several of the masterclasses (the space marine and tyranid ones are my favorite), learned lots. They lay things out in a clear, easy to understand and building block process. I can’t rate them highly enough.

Getting back into the hobby or new to it? Vanguard is the place for you! From learning the game mechanics to the deepest of deep dives in the Master Class series the value at Vanguard Tactics is off the scale.

Excellent course content and masterclasses. Streams are of a very high quality and the ethos of the company 'fair play and being a great opponent while being the best you can be' is intrinsic to all they do. Lee C

A great group of individuals who all really wanted to help fans of all skill levels and ages get more fun out of their hobby. I’ve taken the Masterclasses and the Learn to Play courses for AoS and 40K, and have seen the improvement in my comprehension of the game, and my enjoyment!

Have joined the academy as well as used the masterclass for tyranids. Honestly a great company that really care about the community. The masterclass is a great way of developing your game and really good content that’s helpful and easy to use.

Got one of their courses last week and found out later that I had missed out on one of their promotions. I was still in the refund period and contacted customer support explaining the situation. Having been involved in 40K for over 20 years I wanted to start taking it more seriously and attending bigger and better events - this was quite overwhelming especially with a new edition. VT had everything I needed to get comfortable and build up that confidence to attend. Not only do you get the coaching and sportsmanship but you’re part of VT. You turn up and anyone else who is part of team VT treats you like a friend they’ve known forever. It’s not just becoming a better 40K player In a sporting way - it’s as much as you want it to be and you truly can be a part of something much bigger. Give it a go and I promise you won’t look back.

Super unhelpful pushing their own narrative and way to play a game that I remember as fun as a kid, way too focused on being competitive down to every detail, really sucked the fun out of a game.

Vanguard Tactics provides not only a great experience when it comes to learning Warhammer 40,000 but also a welcoming community.

I've supported Vanguard Tactics for a number of years and seen them go from strength to strength. They've developed a range of courses over time and as a veteran 40k player I've found their content brilliant for learning new techniques to improve my game.

The academy itself provides a strong foundation for new players while the masterclasses and 1 to 1 list building sessions with a VT coach are great examples of how they've added to their repertoire.

Frequent streams are both informative and fun plus there's a great Discord community.
