ValuePenguin sold my email
Scam. ValuePenguin sold my email to multiple sites. I know because I hide my email and know which sites are selling my information...without my permission.

Scam. ValuePenguin sold my email to multiple sites. I know because I hide my email and know which sites are selling my information...without my permission.
had two different representatives just hang up on me instead of offering to help me find the right department. that's not how you make freaking money
Avoid at all costs. SCAM. Received multiple calls after entering information for quotes.
Scam operation. Have blocked 25 numbers and they're still calling despite me telling multiple telemarketers I'm no longer interested. Avoid at all costs.
Visit their website and they will start calling you 200 times a day
Within 3 minutes I had 2 text messages, 1 e-mail and 2 phone calls from various insurance companies. They are a scam. The reason I went with one company to compare quotes was so I wouldn't have to talk to multiple different insurance companies. This company is a joke, avoid at ALL COSTS!
Sells info on to 3rd party spam sites, don't use.
I submitted my contact information so I could see a few general quotes/estimates on health insurance. What I didn't realized was that Value Penguin doesn't actually provide you with estimates. The morning after I received 20+ calls from reps who wouldn't provide clarity on where they were calling from. They came through so fast that I actually would receive new calls while on with a rep. Telling them to take me off their list did nothing, asking for a supervisor prompted an immediate hangup.
Terrible experience. Made the mistake of filling out a form, then got inundated by unhelpful telemarketing calls.
Do NOT deal with these scammers. They claimed to give me insurance quotes for comparison, but they do NOT do that. What they do is sell all your personal information to a bunch of companies where you still have to give all information to obtain quotes individually, all while allowing third parties to spam you via email, mail, text, and calls. Disgraceful liars!
When looking for a health insurance quote, I foolishly filled out a form at this site - and checked the 'contact me' box thinking that I was agreeing to be contacted by the 4 'vendors' they had listed when filling out the form.
The next days HUNDREDS of insurance brokers from around the country began calling my phone. And it hasn't let up for weeks now! I've had close to 1000 calls - and hundreds of emails from insurance brokers. From what I gather my information was bundled and sold, and I have no way (that I know of), to get my name off these lists.
This site is a SCAM!!! Do NOT input any information about you into this site.
