I'm extremely angry and frustrated with…

I'm extremely angry and frustrated with Valr I made a withdrawal 5 days ago then was put immediately to review, from verifying my deposit to be being questioned about my personal bank account, to being questioned about my personal account why people sending me money and so forth to a response of automated response over and over again with no way forward I then asked them to cancel my transactions of my withdrawal so that I can return my money back to my bank account because I'm really annoyed by being treated like a crimal with your own money.

Still no response from the help centre just the same automated response, then yesterday the 26th of may 2026 I received an email from Valr saying my account has been temporarily blocked meaning I won't access to the account. This is totally fraud and against the popi act and I told them that I will take this matter further still an automated response meaning they're help centre is fruad and AI bot not an actual agent
I'm not going to let this go I'll escalate it further as to the ombudsman FSCA I'm just waiting for the response from my request.

I'm seriously not happy and I don't want anything to do with Valr I just want my money back that's all

Valr are the worst

The worst service I’ve ever experienced, by far. The endless questionnaires. The not really understanding the requests or responses is insane. I have been going back and forth with them since the 11th of April and still no one is willing to read and understand what my issue is. I’ve submitted all required documents but I’m still requested to keep answering the same questions. Someone even had the audacity to tell me to read my emails carefully when they are the ones not reading to understand instead of just responding. I’m beyond frustrated with this company.

STAY AWAY!!

STAY AWAY!!! I have found it hard to withdraw my funds with this company. Their support is very bad, and they are not willing to help you. They are cheaters who only want to deceive you with what you have. But #Crop Mines....is outstanding in their services, and they pay on time without any delay.

Still No Sevice

After the last review VARL answered that they would look into my problem and to date I have received noting but useless automated replies. This implicates that not one of my complaints of the 5 plus that I submitted have been read and acted upon. My accounts with pending withdrawals are still dozen. What a Kindergarden company. VARL has got some serious helpdesk support problems.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with VALR.

After depositing R300,000, my account was immediately blocked. Since then, I have been subjected to an endless and increasingly unreasonable verification process. I was asked to explain where I intend to withdraw my own money, provide screenshots of my personal Trezor wallet, submit bank statements, proof of payments, and extensive personal documentation.

Despite fully cooperating and submitting everything requested, my account remains blocked. Each time I comply, a new requirement is added, with no clear timeline, resolution, or accountability. It feels like deliberate delay tactics rather than genuine compliance checks.

This situation has been ongoing for several days and has caused significant stress. This is a substantial amount of money, yet I am being treated as if the funds do not belong to me. Customer support provides no concrete answers, only repeated requests for more documentation.

While I understand regulatory and compliance obligations, there must be reasonable limits, transparency, and timely resolution. Blocking access to customer funds after deposit, without clear justification or deadlines, is unacceptable.

I strongly caution anyone considering using this platform, especially for large amounts. Until this matter is resolved, I cannot recommend this exchange and will be escalating the issue further if access to my funds is not restored promptly.

I hate this platform

I hate this platform, it's a FRAUD. I had initially deposited ZAR5000 when I registered my account around December 2024 and just played around with a few trades. I last used my account around October 2025 and recently reset my primary email address, and now when I logged in my balance is ZAR136 on AVAX. I sent an email and to date NO RESPONSE from VALR.

VALR is without question one of the worst crypto platforms I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. What should be a straightforward experience—depositing and withdrawing your own money—turns into a drawn-out nightmare filled with delays, suspicion, and blatant incompetence.

The moment you try to move your funds, everything grinds to a halt. Withdrawals sit in “processing” limbo with no real explanation, no timeline, and no accountability. Fees are deducted instantly, of course, but your actual funds? Held indefinitely. It feels less like a technical issue and more like deliberate obstruction.

Instead of fixing problems, VALR resorts to interrogating its own customers. Endless emails full of invasive questions, assumptions that you don’t understand crypto, and demands for bank statements and screenshots—just to access your own money. This is not security; it’s harassment disguised as compliance. Other reputable exchanges manage to follow regulations without treating users like suspects. VALR clearly cannot.

Customer support is painfully slow, impersonal, and unhelpful. You’re met with canned responses, copy-paste questionnaires, and zero urgency. There is no effort to actually resolve issues—just endless hoops to jump through while your funds remain locked. No transparency, no clear communication, and absolutely no respect for users.

For a platform that markets itself as professional and reliable, this experience is embarrassing. VALR fails at the most basic responsibility of a crypto exchange: allowing users access to their own assets. If you care about your money, your time, or your sanity, stay far away.

Plenty of exchanges operate smoothly and professionally. VALR is not one of them. I regret ever trusting this platform and will never use it again. Save yourself the frustration—look elsewhere.

Scam platform to trade with

I would not recommend anyone to trade with VALR their stop loss always fails. I lost school fees and rent money stop loss did not trigger another bad experience was the buy order did not trigger when my buy order was at the bottom always a fail it’s like they make money on their back end.

I started investing with a Cynthia Mpho who contacted me via Whats-up.I have invested R75 000 so far in 6 months time and every time I'm due for my profit I had to pay in more money e.g. for releasing funds or for appearance in my account.Every time I block their numbers,they contact me from a different number and everytime I had to pay money it was to a different person and a different account.I've had enough now and I'm going to hand all my evidence over to the HAWKS.So please be carefull for these scams.

Do not trust VALR, i think they busy with identity fraud. You cannot verify your identify as it says that the drivers license expired when it is valid. My feeling is that they collect personal information.

Scam

Hi, I deposited money on Valr on the 23
nd Sept to pay a friend. My money was withheld, Valr wanted the statement showing the deposit, I provided that. They came back and said I need to provide proof of account. I sent that. Now they saying I need to share a convesation between me and my friend showing
that I we agreed on that. This is too sad, very dissapointing actually.

I would love to seek guidance. I join the app last month July 17 2025 after seeing it being advertised on face book and my first investment was $133 and that it would take a week to withdrawal. I waited patiently. When the withdrawal day came .l was told to pay $500 for authorization code .l didn't have this amount it took me weeks to raise the money and made the payment. I couldn't still withdrawal l was told my funds have reached a final stage and now l need to pay $1100 .which l have not paid. How do l recover my funds because l am and not ready to pump in money without a withdrawal.
