We don’t have the lights yet…. It is hard to give a score. On April 22nd, we got a note that FedEx would ship the lights to us - BUT the information still says that they have a label but do not yet have the lights. Please get us the lights and this rating may change.

I ordered some sconces that needed to fit is specific space. I was unable to determine all the measurements from the spec sheet in the product description. Once the company responded with the measurements needed, it became clear that they would not work for me. They agreed to cancel the order and give me a full refund. While I never saw the actual product to determine the quality, I did appreciate the fact that they allowed for a full refund even after the order was placed. Keep in mind that due to the time difference, emailed responses to inquiries can take 12-24 hours.

The Vakkerlight customer service team has been the most helpful and dedicated team that I have ever worked with in my 30+ years of online shopping. After purchasing a beautiful light fixture from Vakkerlight, I confessed that I had planned to customize it but I was running into problems. The Customer service was responsive and came up with a creative solution that allowed me to "re-engineer" the light of my dreams. I found the perfect light, purchased 2 separate orders inadvertently. The team at Vakkerlight.com notified me right away, to see if this was in error, which it was. I was refunded immediately. Staff was curteous and very helpful. I appreciate that in online vendors.

I wish I would have read other reviews. Like so many on here, I was fooled by the professional appearance of this company's website. I work in architecture, and will be warning clients, colleagues and peers to stay away.
I ordered 1 wall-mounted light, which was "on sale" for $120. After 2 months, it arrived. All of the fasteners holding the fixture together were loose. The light is VERY dim (not usable as a reading light), and the mounting hardware doesn't even fit into the back of the fixture. The instructions are nonsensical. A plastic Ikea light is 2X the quality, 2X the function, for 1/4 of the cost (and shipping time).
I would try to return it, but after reading all of the other reviews, it seems unlikely I'll get any money back. Or I'll have to sink another 2 months of my time. Just a giant scam and a joke. I'm sure some customer service rep. will post a nice reply below about how sorry they are. That's complete nonsense. They clearly know what they're doing, and are not a reputable company.

The product we received did not match the quality or construction shown on the website. The lantern was lightweight, uneven, and visibly flawed, which did not align with the advertised images or pricing.
The website presents products with high list prices that are then discounted, creating the impression that they are comparable to established design retailers like dwr, lumens, cb2, etc. Based on what we received, the actual quality was significantly lower than expected for that price range.
Vakkerlight advertises a “60-Day Easy Returns” and “hassle-free returns” policy. However, when we requested a return, we were told we would need to pay approximately $60 in return shipping because the item was shipped from Asia. This was not disclosed at checkout (our invoice shows $0.00 for shipping), and the website states that there are return addresses in North America, which conflicted with what we were told.
The company offered a partial refund to keep the item or a replacement if we paid additional shipping. They also stated that a return label had been sent, but we did not receive one.
Due to these issues, we submitted a chargeback with our credit card company, which was resolved in our favor after review of the documentation.
Based on our experience, the product quality, pricing presentation, and return process did not align with how the company represents itself online.

We’ve shopped Vakkerlight for outdoor wall lights and indoor chandeliers with pendant lamps- with glass shades. All of which arrived in perfect condition. Yes shipping took a little extra time but I was aware of this PRIOR to purchasing. The quality is remarkable and excellent craftsmanship. We are thrilled with not only the products but the customer service experience when questioning the best size for our walls. We will always shop here for their competitive pricing & beautiful variety of lighting.
