Bought a single item which resulted in an ongoing subscription, which I didn't realise, so I have been scammed out of hundreds of pounds by these crooks. Avoid!

4 red bags

A few months ago I bought one of that 4 bags pack. The red one. To be honest, I really like the backpack, but the others ones I don't use them at all, in my opinion, they are a lit bit small and with a little bit low quality. But if we compare price - quality, it's OK!
The only thing less positive I found it was the delivery time. My order spend around one month to arrive. But also we can thing due to coronavirus there is a lot of delays.

A truly horrible experience

A truly horrible experience; membership cancellation is not made clear at all, still took my money even after I made a phone call to cancel it. I rang customer service, the employee was beyond rude and would not even tell me her name. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

ALERT !!!

ALERT !!!! BE AWARE !!!!!
If you are a one time purchaser , you should NOT go for this site as they make us accept terms and conditions before buying something , i can vouch that none reads those T&C ever which also has one line which says you will need to pay the monthly subscription fees and people unknowingly accept these t&C and end up auto deducting these monthly subscriptions fees.. so the product may cost you very very cheap and thats where ppl fall for the same and end up in paying so much in following months too until they realise they are getting charged every month unnecessarily. So the bag mioght cost you 1pound or less but subscription is more that 20 pounds every month for no reason. Absolute nonsense

Kind help from Vaiva

I had some trouble as my purchase was stolen form my house. I had to buy the same again and Vaiva kindly let me do that even though we are supposed to buy once only if I remember rightly - and they helped in every way and the item came swiftly.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID! The subscription was never clear and £29.95 membership fee for useless service and nothing else! It's a CON CON CON!

Below is their response to the subscription fee x 3 - I've managed to cancel it now! If you like to shop online regularly and stock up on jewellery etc, it's for you I suppose and a membership of 'a club'.to satisfy the pockets of others!

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I have cancelled your membership on your behalf.
I confirm that your membership at VaivaClub has been cancelled at your request on June 5, 2020 and no further payment will be taken from your account.
I’m so sorry that you feel this way, Vaiva’s Subscription terms are identical for all the customers. According to our Subscription Terms, Vaiva.co.uk is a continual subscription, the first 10 days of membership are FREE, thereafter, it costs £29.95 per month unless you choose to end your membership. By ordering our products, you indicate that you consent to the Terms and Conditions and state that you are competent to enter into legally-binding contracts.
It is impossible to complete your order without signing the Subscription Terms box. Our system automatically recognize this move as your choice and permission to become a member of our shopping club.
Vaiva.co.uk informs customers clearly about the membership fee on various visible parts of our website, including the top banner : "Automatically join VAIVA when you make you first order. First 10 days are FREE, thereafter it costs £29.95/month, you can cancel anytime”. The information regarding the subscription terms is also stated at the checkout page (where you have entered your credit information) and in the invoice message.
About the membership fee
As much as I'd love to help, your request is beyond what we are able to do for customers. According to our Subscription terms membership fee is not refundable. You must cancel your membership at least one day before the start of your billing cycle in order to avoid auto-renewal for the following month.

Avoid

Never received an email to confirm the purchase. They also do not make it abundantly clear on their website about what membership actually entails, namely, you will be subject to a monthly fee of £29.95 per month.

I don't know if this is even real or not

I ordred my items on April 16th and was told they would arrive in a week. It is the 6th May and I have not received anything. VAIVA took £5 from my account, then returned £4.85, and then took £5 AGAIN. They took this £5 without letting me know and I still haven't received my items. I cancelled my membership and if I do not get my money back, I will take this matter to higher authorities.
