Vagabond was founded in the late 60’s and originally only produced men’s shoes. So much has happened since. In the 80’s Vagabond’s young entrepreneurs-to-be fell in love with the brand and were entrusted with its transformation. In the beginning the design office was located in Portugal and in Italy, close to the world’s best knowledge of shoemaking. In 1993 Vagabond moves back to Varberg, Sweden, to set up a full workshop for prototypes, most likely one of its kind in Northern Europe.

Outstanding customer service and brand integrity!
I recently had an issue with a leather bag that was damaged following some maintenance advice. While the initial situation was frustrating, the Vagabond team, and specifically the team leader, Ine, handled my case with incredible professionalism and care.
They truly listened to my concerns, took responsibility for the guidance provided, and ultimately offered me a brand-new replacement bag. It is rare to see a brand today that values its customers' loyalty this much and is willing to go above and beyond to make things right.
I am a long-time fan of their designs, and this experience has only solidified my trust in the brand. Thank you Vagabond for the great support!

Tonight I had yet another terrific experience with this company and this time it was with their AI bot, Emma. She was great - better than most. a smart bot, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and helped me so fast. Resolution was very positive, too. Very impressive.

Online customer service is exceptional!
I’ve never written a review here but my experience today with Vagabond made me do it. I’ve been on the hunt for quality (and super cool) shoes with larger toe boxes as I’ve decided I shouldn’t have to suffer for style. An ad popped up on instagram and I messaged the brand to ask if they had any shoes that might work. I got a response almost immediately, asking questions so they could better support. I then received 4 recommendations and links. It’s the best customer service I’ve ever received via social media. I purchased 2 pairs and will absolutely purchase from again. I’ve never been so happy with a brand on social media.
