The item came very well packaged and it works great, quick delivery too.

I had been looking at buying a HTC Vive VR kit for a while as I owned one a couple of years ago and really enjoyed using it, I wasn't keen on buying another one at full price though so I turned to the second hand market, I never followed through with buying one through eBay however as it can be difficult to gauge the condition of the item through the often limited images provided; technology is an especially worrisome second hand purchase.

This is where Used Plus comes in, I stumbled upon their site whilst just searching on Google hoping that the solution would fall into my lap and lo and behold it did! The price listed on the website seemed very reasonable, especially for a refurbished kit. I was trepidatious at first as I hadn't heard of Used Plus before; reading the pages on the site that clearly explained item condition, delivery and returns policy put my mind at ease however and I decided to go for it.

Checkout was refreshingly straightforward compared to other sites and before I knew it, my order was on its way. Delivery was equally trouble free, Hermes provided tracking info via email and it was updated regularly, right up until it was delivered, which was great.

Now, for the moment of truth. The kit came in its original box and had a layer of bubble wrap between the box itself and the grey plastic shipping wrap which was a really nice touch as shipping and handling can be very unkind to rigid cardboard boxes. The VR kit inside was neatly packaged and looked identical to how I remember when I bought one new which is real attention to detail on display.

As the for the condition of the kit itself, I couldn't be happier. As far as I'm concerned, aside from some minor scuffs on the matte black headset, it's pretty much perfect. All the controls feel tight and responsive with no drift or phantom button presses to speak of.

Now, as a self identifying clean freak another thing I was looking out for was potential odour from the previous owner, I wasn't necessarily expecting a bad smell, just one that would identify the kit as second hand. I spent a good few minutes sniffing everything in the box (it's not a dignified ritual believe me), I could not detect an odour of any kind, not even cleaning chemicals, which can sometimes be a pungent smell in second hand products that have been cleaned.

I've been having great fun playing the wide library of VR games available and being able to "visit" places in VR has made lockdown a much less oppressive experience.

As for Used Plus, overall this has been a fantastic buying experience and I would vehemently recommend Used Plus if you're looking to buy a tech item but don't want to pay the full price!

Very good received my Xbox next day free delivery so very happy

I was looking for a Xbox one S and found Usedplus, Was very unsure of trusting them but glad I did. The delivery was fast but when I started playing on the console the problems began, however it was easy to contact customer service and explain my problem to them and get a replacement. Though when the replacement arrived the console was wet, It might have been recently cleaned or someone might have mishandled the product in some way but the console is currently working so no complaints but since the console was wet I cannot give them 5 stars. So I gave them a 4 star review.

Item was slightly faulty, but this was sorted super quickly and efficiently. No issues whatsoever. Excellent small business with a good personal touch. Would recommend.
