Excellent Customer Service, Excellent Product
I made an order on fotile's website on a hood range during after-hours (basically midnight), and I tried to cancel the order because I found a better fit for my kitchen for another fotile model through Amazon that would ship sooner. While canceling through the website seemed difficult, I was able to send them an email about it. Just in case, I called them the next morning to speak with customer service and they explained that they will attempt to halt the order and cancel. Within less than a minute, it was successful. I later got an email response to my email request about it being taken care of. I'm impressed with the customer service received. It's refreshing to experience straight-forward, logical, and effective customer service!
Now for the Fotile product I bought and installed -- it feels like a top quality kitchen product. While I was reading through the manual and unmounting my existing microwave from the cabinet, I thought "oh, I better get some fender washers because the holes from the old microwave mounting system are close to the new holes I need to drill." Turns out Fotile's hardware package already includes fender washers. They also recommend installing additional support to prevent crushing if the bottom of the cabinet has space between the mounting surface of the range hood. They clearly know their stuff, and I did as it recommended.
Performance of the hood range is phenomenal. The LED lights are really bright, and steam from boiling water is easily handled even on medium fan speed. I cooked a steak where I admittedly did not remove enough my tenderizer of choice (yogurt) and as it was burning, the exhaust hood vented it out. Moreover, I have an air purifier that would've lit up like a Christmas tree if the fumes were incredibly bad, but it never did so the fotile was keeping my air quality good. This will save your life. Get one.
