customer service

Went to Arndale with my sister 24th August and into Urban outfitters at around 4-5pm. The customer service was absolutely appalling - as soon as we went into the queue of the changing rooms our clothes were wanted to try on were immediately ragged from us with no explanation. No smiles or expression was given. She then walked off with my clothes with again, no communication. Therefore I was unsure of what i should do because I had no idea what she was doing, snatching my clothes without even looking at me then walking off. Just to finish it off also, she then walked into my changing room as I was half-dressed, clearly not caring. She left the door open, waiting for another confused customer until I told her i was in there. She didnt listen until she walked in, seeing me hiding my chest with a top covering it. She then didnt even apologise and just said with an uncaring tone , saying ‘Oh, whoops.’ I won’t be returning and especially won’t be trying clothes on!

Awful returns process

Awful customer service. Tried to use the online returns process which is telling me my items are not eligible for returns! I only received the order on 2nd December so I still have 3 more days to be able to do so within the ordinary 30 returns window. However, as it is Christmas I should still be well within my right to return. Upon contacting customer service via WhatsApp to sort this I have been on for several hours and despite the conversation being picked up at intervals I have yet to get anywhere. The phone line has been busy all day too. This is utterly unacceptable. I won’t be shopping with Urban Outfitters again.

No help for problem

I ordered a pair of shoes and for some unexplained reason the shipper returned them to Urban Outfitters. After a week of trying to resolve the issue (I.e. having them reshipped) I finally gave up.

Banned from UO Group for a return they…

UPDATE as of 9.30pm: I've received an email twice saying the restriction is lifted. My order is cancelled again. so the person who responded to me confirming the hold was lifted lied. I give up. This company is a joke.

UPDATE AS OF 21/8/24, 11.30am: after speaking to TWO members of staff separately who confirmed the restriction would be lifted by EOD, they've now sent me an email saying my account is locked and I am banned, and also the ban has been lifted. This is insane.

Banned from UO Group for a return they lost.

If I could give minus I would.

I've returned maybe 3 times since I've shopped with UO. They sent me the wrong dress in August 2023, so I returned it with their postage stamp. Eight cancelled orders later, I emailed their team - there's a lock on my account, I need to call their team. I call them. The return was never received (they never notified me of this, and it was well past the time of having any proof of postage) and there's lock on my account. They now remove the lock.

August 2024, I place an order with Anthropologie. Cancelled. I have to phone them. Due to that issue with my account of Royal Mail losing the INCORRECT DRESS SENT TO ME, I've been banned from purchasing from their group due to my returns "history".

SCAMMERS !!!!!

I bought on the American store, they sent me a product that does not correspond at all to what I bought! This is not my fault if they send me the wrong item !!! If I want a refund, I must return it at my expense! I'm in France so it would cost me 3 times the price of the product ordered! URBAN OUTFITTERS IS A SCAMMER! Don't trust them, they stole the customer's money!

Wow negatively impressed.

Wow negatively impressed.
So they managed to save an imaginary name and address on my profile and even though I entered the new one while ordering they made an order for the old non existing one and refuse to edit the shipping adress even though the pacakge is not dispatched yet. The currency conversion they gave me was also really bad. Shipping extremely expensive and they say i have to pay it when the package will be returned to them.... wow i am disappointed..! Never again UO!!!
I'm sure there is a way to correct this but THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE.

Incorrect order/ missing package disaster

I placed an order for a pair of sneakers on 3/22 the item was delivered quickly however, I received the incorrect size. When I called customer service they acknowledged it was their error and said I would be sent the correct size. I returned the incorrect size back. After a day, I never received a confirmation email regarding shipping of my new order, so I called customer service. I was told it would take a few days for the item to be reviewed etc. which was not told to me when I placed the original call. I was so frustrated and annoyed I then canceled the entire order. I checked the site again to reorder the item only to realize it was no longer in stock. I’m assuming this is why I didn’t receive a shipping email. I then placed an order for another pair of sneakers. However, this time I never received the item. Customer service was not helpful and didn’t seem to care that I didn’t receive my package. This is the second time I didn’t receive a package from UO. This was my last time ordering from the merchant. Management needs to consider using other delivery carriers to ensure customers receive their package. Had I received the correct size the first time I ordered this wouldn’t have happened.

Still No Refund...UNACCEPTABLE

I ordered chairs for my apartment from Urban Outfitters online. When I got them they didn't work so I reached out to customer service and they said to package them back up and they would be picked up. There is no option to return in stores. I did exactly as was asked, used the label provided and got the tracking info. The chairs were picked up. A month later I still not have received a refund, the chairs are "lost" and their "shipping department is investigating" before i can get my money back. These chairs were not inexpensive and it is extremely frustrating not to get my refund back because of their shipping errors. I have contacted customer service four times already and they tell me every time that the shipping department will be in touch with me in 24-48 hours. I WILL NEVER ORDER FURNITURE FROM THEM AGAIN!

excellent service

I always had excellent service, above and beyond what I expected. I know people love to complain but when you've had as many great experiences as I have both online and in store I have to give the credit and balance things out. Good job.

customI placed an order on 8th June and…

customI placed an order on 8th June and on 14 send an email regarding my order and was replied that it was to be dispatched soon. I send an another email on 15th soon after hour I received an email saying they have cancelled my order due to stock availability. I have never experienced such a stupidity. You can’t trust them they are not shame of their unprofessional act.
