Shame about customer services

Back in 2021 I purchased an upwalker lite for my mother after she had fallen a couple of times and had grown wary about using the walker she had
She had lost confidence and would not go out and socialise something which she was well known for in the accommodation where she lives
No sooner had we received the upwalker it changed her life completely regaining her confidence letting her go out and socialise again a fantastic piece of equipment BUT then catastrophe one of the brake handles broke and we were back to square one mother frightened to use the walker. Straight away I was onto customer services which proved to be a great let down it took several e mails and phone calls to get to speak to someone finally after 3 months we were given a free replacement a nice gesture BUT alas here we are again the same problem the same brake handle has broken sent several e mails tried a phone number provided but it keeps coming up not recognised
I laughingly asked for a refund but I doubt the request will see the light of day to avoid repercussions of being without a walker I have bought a new one but not an upwalker

Customer Service jokers!

Fabulous product which is let down by the atrocious customer service! It is 27/03/23 as I write this and I am still trying to resolve an issue from 19/10/23! It only takes them THREE months to reply to an email! Whenever you call, unless you are trying to purchase, their systems are down and they will supposedly call you back!

Refund took three months My mum purchased an upwalker in July

My mum purchased an upwalker in July. I phoned them to ask if we could try one before buying but they said that wasn’t possible. I was told that if mum wasn’t happy with it, we could return it for a total refund. When it arrived it was so heavy, mum instantly knew it wasn’t for her and didn’t even take it out of the box. She arranged to send it straight back via courier. That was at the start of July. It has taken until the end of September to receive the refund. Mum has had to make phone calls and send emails to chase up the refund. I have also sent two emails and not had a response. This has caused mum a huge amount of upset and I am so sad that this company caused this. Shame on them. Avoid at all costs as they are not trustworthy and do not deliver on their side of the deal. Dealing with anxious, frail customers in this way is unacceptable.

Unclear advertised Upwalker

I had seen the upwalker advertised in the mail on Sunday and being a double amputee with proshetic legs it looked like it may help me with my walking and with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee I phoned to enquire about possibly making a purchase, the lady I spoke to explained many times that if it did not suit me I could return the upwalker so keep the box it arrives in. I received the upwalker the following week as soon as I tried the upwalker I did not feel comfotable with it but as I have a private physio who comes weekly I asked her what she thought seeing me use the upwalker and she agreed with me that it was not for me, as it had a 30 day guarantee, I phone to say I wanted to return the upwalker and was shocked to be told I would have to arrange and pay to return the item, not knowing who to use they suggested Parcel Force the cost being £76.87 at no time was I told that if I returned the item I would have to arrange and pay for the return. I have this weeks mail on Sunday the upwalker is advertised again and no where does it state that the buyer is responsible for the cost should you want to return the item with a 30 day SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. I felt I was pressurised into buying the walker as the lady I spoke to said that if I purchased it today she could give me £70.00 off but only today. With my experience I would not advise anyone to purchase this item
