Mission accomplished!

In one word - Jeremy!

He communicated clearly and patiently at every step of the way: probably above and beyond when outside factors interfered with the smooth running!

Even after a RTC, he thought of us and maintained communications!

Rik of Uptix did a great job representing

Rik of Uptix provided very clear and open guidance regarding the process and was VERY transparent, knowledgable and courteous without being patronising or officious. He kept in close touch and put us in touch with the relevant persons in the progression of the conveyance.
I would HEARTILY recommend Upstix, and this is primarily due to my experience of their customer care and ethos as demonstrated by Rik.

After 3 weeks of completing an…

After 3 weeks of completing an application I got no phone call what so ever, I tried to send an email and I have called multiple times however I still haven’t got a response. reading comments this looks like it’s a regular thing for Upstix if you have time to waste then go to upstixs, potentially the website and phone number is more for show than actual operational duties

Update upstix did contact me after the review and did provide the service which I initially expected so I have now changed the experience to 3 stars. Once they do contact you I can be sure that you will receive a good experience.

Completed sale with Upstix

Just completed on a sale with Upstix after they viewed our property just under 4 weeks ago. From meeting Kris McClory over the phone initially and agreeing a price (which was upheld) to dealing with Charmayne Smith throughout the legal process and completion , the whole transaction has been flawless.

I have attempted numerous sales with so called similar services prior , none of which have come close to this experience.

Great work and I’ll certainly be putting forward other properties, time of transaction vs discount to initial sale price,, easily worth it.

Fast & friendly

The company responded very quickly and they were very friendly and honest with me throughout.
There was not a solution for our situation at this stage but every effort was applied.
I would recommend the company and Kris who has been very helpful throughout.

Absolute life changing

This past year I feel like I've been on the worst roller coaster of life. Finding it hard at times to grieve for my Mum and up against the time limit of seeing all the years of the memory of my Dad paying into a mortgage just to see it all fall into the hands of Equity Release. Then you Upstix were mentioned to us. What a fantastic job you have done for us in such a short period of time. Today I could fly, we cannot thank you enough and will be recommending you whenever anyone else needs help in similar circumstances. Especially to Kris and Charmaine who kept us all well informed at every stage of the process

Kris was very professional and kept me…

Kris was very professional and kept me up to date every step of the way.

I had my indicative offer very quickly and agent valuations were booked in no time at all.

The surveyor they used was very professional and attended the property (not just a desktop survey).

The process was not high pressure and there was no arm twisting to get me to sell.

I would recommend Kris and Upstix to anyone looking to sell quickly.

I also like the fact that if the property sells for more than what the agents think they send you a second payment.

Honest review

Honest review

Friends and family questioned our sanity when we told them we were selling this way - we did too initially.. but after lots of research, conversations and contemplation we decided to proceed because a fast sale was what we needed to secure our next home and get the equity out of our home that we needed quickly. It’s not for everyone and yes we did take just under a 13% drop in market value, the offer came down after valuation which was unexpected and justified by location of property rather than condition. A lot of people would say that’s just not feasible but for us our priority was pace and from initial enquiry to the day of completion was 19 working days and would have been quicker if we had decided to go ahead at the beginning, but we did take a few days to really consider if this was the best option for us after we received our offer.

Our first point of contact was Rik who is the most genuine guy. My guard was up all the way through because at the end of the day when you’re selling your most valuable asset in such a way - you’re going to be wary. But Rik built my trust from day 1 and never let me down, was always contactable regardless if it was outside of his working hours and just a kind compassionate individual. I was never under pressure and felt that the ball was always in my court when deciding whether or not to go ahead. We had many WhatsApp conversations and phone calls throughout - alleviating any concerns and keeping me up to date all the way. Rik made this process feel very personal rather than business focused.

My next mention is Alex, senior underwriter. He stepped in at a crucial point when the Sales Progressor within Upstix stopped responding (my only real criticism), I did worry towards exchange of contracts that there were going to be delays and this is where Rik and Alex really stepped up. Exchange did happen later than I’d have liked, but most importantly the completion date set out at the beginning was met. Alex did everything in his power to ensure this, despite some challenges towards the end with Upstix solicitors processes. Alex made promises to call me at certain times with updates while exchange and completion was happening and he fulfilled each promise he made without fail. Another honest guy, a man of his word. You can tell customer satisfaction is a priority here and it was clear my thoughts and feelings were really taken on board.

Time will tell if we receive a second payment if the house is resold for full market value. It will be a welcome bonus! But we are happy with the service received - and our solicitors were paid for during the process whos service was great too.

Thanks Upstix. We contacted several companies of this nature but this was the only company that gave a feeling of safety and certainty.

Noone is getting in touch

I have been waiting for a week to get a call with a valuation. I have called and left voicemails and noone is getting in touch with me. In the end we decided to go with another company who ar least paid attention to us.

The most annoying thing is that they keep sending me automated emails saying how good they are, but noone is actually contacting me.

UPDATE
After leaving the review Upstix got in touch, sadly was too late as I went with a different company. Although I appreciate their response, and how they owned the issue (nothing worse than unresponsive companies), I am sorry I was not able to actually deal with them. Because of this, I have updated my review to neutral. I had a bad experience but they owned it and tried to make it right

Made an enquiry with this company about…

Made an enquiry with this company about my property, initially communication was good and seemed incredibly helpful, and gave a reasonable suggested price. Once a few more details were given about the property, I was told that I would be called back Monday morning with a price. It’s been a week and no communication at all. Understandable if they needed more details however very poor service just to drop off. Was highly considering this option, but definitely not anymore!

Updated review

This an edited review as I did have problems and a lot of stress.
But out of fairness and after having a lot of communication with the COO, where he listened to me and took on board what I had to say I have upgraded their review.
The property went through all be it a little late to what was promised which caused me many problems. There had been some technical issues which was the banks fault.
Rik who was the first point of contact I cannot fault, he went above and beyond his role in helping to get the sale through keeping in contact with me, even out of office hours.
The COO and Rik are still communicating with me now making sure everything is okay post the transaction being completed.
If you need a quick sale of a property then I am confident now, Upstix is one of the best companies to go with.

House sale

I am considering selling my house to a cash buying company and have contacted a few. Upstix have proved to be a genuine company, no agreements to sign, a fair offer based on a RICs survey paid for by UPSTIX. And no obligation to proceed. Kris has been patient and helpful throughout this process, provided speedy responses and useful information. An excellent service so far.

Honest and professional

After my house buyer withdrew just prior to contract signing, we saw an advert for Upstix regarding buying houses for cash
Rik at Upstix answered all our questions in an honest and professional manner enabling us to understand how Upstix work and what they offer
Our property went back on the market with the estate agents, with a viewing currently booked, although we are hoping for a buyer, we are keeping Upstix in the loop incase we require their services as we don't want to lose the property we are purchasing
We would definitely recommend anyone in a similar position to give Upstix a call

Great service, could not have done more to help me move

I was looking to sell after being on the market for ages with local Estate Agents and I was unable to make an offer on my dream house. I contacted Upstix after being recommended by a friend and spoke to Jeremy. He was really helpful and explained how everything worked so I could work out if Upstix where right for me. Their offer was about 13% below market rate but helped me negotiate most of this off my onward move and could Complete in a few weeks. Were so helpful and really could not ask for better service.

I recently spoke with Upstix regarding a buy to let property i’m looking to sell. I was thoroughly impressed. Although I didn't proceed with selling my property to them, the service from Rik and Jez was outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and provided valuable advice.
