UPS delivery in Austria is terrible

UPS delivery service in Austria is terrible. I pay for delivery to my home, but they always leave a notice that I must go elsewhere to pick it up. This is standard procedure for them. Don’t expect anything else.

Deliver to the address, not a pick up point

I am sick of UPS, every time I order something and they are the delivery company, they deliver to a pickup point which is a 20 minute walk away from my home, longer with the car.

If you can't deliver to the door, then don't bother, why pay postage if it isn't fulfilled?

Customs had to be paid twice

I ordered a package from Amazon not knowing it would be coming from the USA, so I had to pay customs which is perfectly fine and normal. When the delivery person came, they told me that I must pay the customs beforehand because otherwise I cannot receive my package so I did (~30€).
A few months later I get a priority mail telling me to pay the customs once again and although I call them and send them emails explaining the issue, they just don't care and repeat themselves so in the end I had to pay customs twice because of their incompetence and ignorance.
If I'll have the chance to not use their services, I will definitely avoid this company.

Absolute horrible service in Austria

Absolute garbage service in Austria. I have NEVER received a package straight to my apartment even though they say its on the way. They never ring, call or even attempt to go to my building to drop a package. They just say they tried, failed, and go straight to the access point which I have to find time to drive to. I don't always have time so I've had my packages sent back after a few days not being able to pick it up.

Just stop saying you're coming x day and take it straight to the access point. It's beyond obvious laziness at this point.

Nie wieder!

If i could give zero stars, I would, be warned people, do not trust this Delivery company again!! I was waiting for them to deliver my package since morning, but it never came. No information at all!!!

Driver told the company we have moved 🤣

A freaking useless UPS driver told the company that we moved so he didn't have to deliver our ordered product. Ofcorse the company believed him and nothing happened to the idiot and they did nothing about it. I can't belive how useless they are.

How can the company improve? Just simply try to deliver your packages. As simple as that. And if your employees don't have time to deliver so many. Be transparent about it so you don't waste my time.

Nicht mal 1 Stern, exterm unprofessionell, nie erreichbar, verlogen, sprechen kein Deutsch, klingeln nicht an aber versenden automatisch Mails. All in all, STAY AWAY if you don't want to get robbed and never see your package.

UPS likely stole my package!!!!
After my package could not be delivered, as I was not at home, and a signature was required, I called customer service to let them know a pickup location would better suit me, as I am at work during UPS delivery hours.
They rerouted my package to the pickup location but did not give me a code or barcode to pick up my package. I called at least 10 times during that week for a code and was given different information by EVERY SINGLE customer service worker. I never received the code.
Then all of a sudden my tracking showed it was no longer at the pickup location but back on the way to my house.
I received a notification that my package had been delivered at my mailbox. As the package is worth over €1.000, I immediately went home to ensure it would not be stolen (my signature was required!!).
My package was not there. I immediately called customer service, again, and was told the driver made a mistake in marking it as delivered and would call me by the end of the day to come deliver it to me.
I wrote an email saying I did not receive the package, was told the information that it was wrongly marked as delivered, and expect a phone call and my package by the end of the day.
After writing this email I was called by UPS customer service to tell me the package was lost and I needed to fill out a formula so they could find it and get back to me in the next 10 days.
I called the seller, and they are now dealing with the situation, as I cannot deal with their BS anymore and I am absolutely completely fed up with UPS and their total incompetence.

Shockingly horrible.

From Portland

From Portland, OR USA, via Louisville, KY, and Cologne till Vienna was my package traceable. But in Austria no tracing possible. The package is gone. On the phone people from I don't know which countries, bareable understanding and speaking German. No way to find a responsible person. If I could I would give them minus stars. UPS Austria NEVER again.

Catastrophe.

Catastrophe.
They leave packages at storeboxes , and they don't send clients the codes to access the storebox.
No Way to get in touch with them , no code received after weeks

Important Package Delivery - Lies - Lies - Lies

Important package delivery. Driver marked as attempted delivery, although no UPS guy ever passed by the door. Unbelievable how they lie. Called support. Deposited complaint. Nothing will happen. Next time same story over again.

Always lie about delivery

We often get things delivered from UPS because much online shops use their service and they lie About the delivery. I always get a message, that no one was at home when my package got delivered, but someone is always home because my mum literally has her own office with 4 co workers so SOMEONE IS ALWAYS HOME. Same thing today, got a message at 11:37 that no one was home. My Mom, her co worker and my two brothers were at home at the “delivery time” and told me, that no one rang the bell. I didn’t even receive a code for the pick up station, and the inside of that package was not cheap. WTH is this company🤦‍♀️

Great service

After a very bad experience with another company, UPS really saved us! They came perfectly on time in Vienna where they collected our packages (4, 25 kg each!) on Monday and today (Friday) all arrived in perfect condition in Lisbon! The UPS guy in Vienna was good, the guy in Lisbon was excellent! Great service!!!

I stop in the Quincy IL UPS to pick up a package. Not one but 4 people sat on their ass and looked at me as they pretended to have a meeting during the only 1.5 hour that you can pick up a package. All four ignored me for 10 minutes not even a "someone will be with you shortly" Only after 10 minutes the only one working ask to help me. Only to tell me that my package was out for delivery. I call to complain only to get an attitude that THEIR time was valuable and THEY were doing me a favor ALLOWING me to pick up my package I paid to have delivered. If UPS treats their customers this way. I guess they don't need customers. Too big to fail. My ass, look at Yellow trucking. Go woke Go broke. This is not to mention the complaint system sucks. There is no one in the states to talk to. The complaints go right back to the people you have a problem with. No accountability. The inmates are running the prison. I lost 4 hours of work and all I got was "sorry accidents happen". People take off of work to pick up their packages or have to wait for a package that requires a signature. Not everyone works from home or has time to take off for this monkey BS

AWFUL SERVICE! lord they ALWAYS lie and NEVER come to my door, just send my packets to a pickup station. really frustating to be ripped off like this every time and there is nothing I can do about it. their website is also a joke and no proper way to report an issue with their AWFUL SERVICE! they should be ashamed of this ridiculous AWFUL SERVICE!
