The staff at Up Norway listened to our interests and crafted a wonderful 3-week tour for us. The "My Trip" app made travel simple, with all our tickets and reservation information in one place. During the trip the staff were very responsive to our questions and did a terrific job re-booking our flights back to Oslo after the original flight was canceled due to fog. We are seasoned travelers and have to say that this company is one of the best we've traveled with. They are first class - we can't recommend them enough!

I had a truly wonderful 12 day journey through Norway. UpNorway curated an amazing trip from start to finish. Travel was easy, reservations were made without issue. Each stop was a totally new, wonderful experience. I recommend them without reservation and will suggest them to everyone I know traveling to Norway.

Our holiday was very well planned and seamless in execution. In my opinion this was the ideal way to see the beautiful country of Norway enjoying the landscape and some adventure activities. The trip itinerary was catered to our needs and the app was very useful with all its information and links. All we had to do was follow it and turn up. Mari was available through chat if we had any queries. All in all travelling with Up Norway was the best decision we made. I highly recommend them for a dream journey to Norway.

We spent a week in the finnmark. It was a surprise for my wife and it was the best trip she has ever made. Upnorway was here to help at each unpredictable disturbance. I trusted them to take care of the activities and the places we stayed and it was just amazing. We have new passions now and want to live there…permanently if we may.

I first contacted Up Norway through 62 nord and since the first time I was in interatctiom with them to plan my trip to Norway at least 4 months ahead of my actual visit and they created a customized itinerary for me. They listened to my idea of what I was looking for and then created an itinerary far beyond what I could have imagined or planned on my own. We explored the fjords, hiked, boated, and visited museums. Everything was planned to the last letter and it was like clockwork with no surprises popping up. The app ( trip plans) where they shared my itinerary was amazingly helpful as never did I feel to contact anybody personally to eat any issues resolved for me. At Hustadvika there was a slight issue with dinner one night and with just one message the Goyal manager cooked a special meq for us and also served us a bottle of sparkling wine as compensation for the delay. This was only possible because of UP NORWAY. I am so glad I used Up Norway for this trip. I have already referred them to all my friends.

Up Norway is a first-class organization with great ability to create a customized vacation/holiday to Norway. They listened to my family's interest and developed the itinerary far beyond what I could have done on my own. We explored the fjords, sea kayaked above the artic circle, hiked, boated, and visited museums. Stayed on Manshausen Island. Probably the most unique, beautiful, 5 star, and
relaxing places on earth. Never would have known of this resort/island if not for Up Norway. Also, this trip was scheduled and paid for March of 2020 to depart April 2020. COVID hit. Up Norway proactively kept me informed of travel during the 2 years. When travel opened up, they rebooked the trip and modified to make even better than the first plan. I have traveled to Europe and Australia 20+ times. Most I have scheduled on my own. I am so glad I used Up Norway for this trip. When returning to Norway, I'll use Up Norway again.

We spent a month in Norway from late August to the end of September in 2022. We had a rough idea of the regions we wanted to explore (South, Western Fjords, Lofoten, various national parks) with a bias towards smaller villages off the beaten track with access to hiking trails given our love for Mother Nature. UpNorway did an exceptional job developing a customized itinerary that leveraged their deep knowledge of Norway while meeting our needs and budget. They made great suggestions on hiking trails, saunas and places to check out. Their choices of small hotels was exquisite - Stanagrad (Hardanger), Beste Bakke (Hafslo), Knutholmen (Kalvag), Skabu mountain lodge (Skabu) and Havlikka lodge (Leknes, Lofoten). Our hosts were attentive, the food was exceptional and we truly had a once in a lifetime experience. If you want to make the most out of your trip to Norway we would highly recommend working with the team at UpNorway.

We travelled with Up Norway, and even if our trip was postponed for two years, we felt like upgraded the whole time, during the two years (better and better program) and on the spot !
The kids and myself saw amazing places, tried new activities and sports, slept in great spots, without them, we wouldn't have lived those experiences ! On all possible question, they were in stand by to answer it right away, via chat, we really couldn't get lost, they were following us in a great way-)

We are a couple from the United States who recently returned from visiting Scandinavia for almost 5 weeks. We were lucky enough to work with Torunn and her outstanding team at Up Norway to plan the 2-week Norwegian portion of our trip. Up Norway provided us with a most memorable trip. Their thoughtful and precise preparation of our itinerary and linking of tickets made an ambitious touring schedule doable and enjoyable. We experienced Norway from Oslo to Bodo with unique and delightful lodging and dining experiences along the way. Our favorite experiences were using the trains and standard fjord boats and express boats to move from place to place, sharing the transportation with Norwegians going about their daily lives.
The app presented everything we needed on our smartphone and provided a ready reference to anticipate next steps.
We found the hosts at our hotels and lodgings to be engaging and very welcoming. The food quality throughout the trip was excellent and the choices varied.
This was an outstanding way to get a broad and deep exposure to an amazing country with experiences tailored to our interests, specifically art, architecture, and the distilling industry. We are already recommending Up Norway to our avid traveling friends.

We recently returned from a 2 week trip in Norway. We are serious birders and explored a number of regions. UpNorway did the planning for our trip.

It was wonderful. The group excels in service (we had a few glitches in the trip) and was easily reachable when those few things went wrong. Their choices of places to stay were a perfect match for us.

While we met 2 very friendly guides, I wished we could have connected with guides who were / are true birders. Our birding discoveries were self-driven as a result. European birders are very willing to help but having someone with true 'inside knowhow' adds to the experience.

I cannot say enough positive though about the trip. We went into it 'blind', not really having the basis of assessment as to what we were signing up for. Every place we stayed was perfect - allowing magnificent hiking and outdoor experiences.

While I would refine the trip some on my next visit I would unhesitatingly use UpNorway again for my travel plans.

We planned our trip in August 2019 and the trip materialized only in May 2022 because of Covid. Throughout this time, Torunn stayed in touch with us and rescheduled everything at least 4 times.

Our trip was absolutely WONDERFUL! Thank you so much for arranging it, Torunn, Henriette, and Karin. Everything was extremely well thought out and arranged, starting with the transfer on our arrival and ending with the last day, when all the transfers from car to bus, to boat to trains worked seamlessly. We also could take the Covid test at the airport through Dr. Dropin and the last night at the hotel worked great.

Most remarkable was the dinner at Altona because we did not expect to have the restaurant open only for the four of us with a service and food that stood out as one the best we ever had. The hotels were all stylish, elegant, and comfortable. All breakfasts were excellent with gourmet food and a vast selection of smoked fish and caviar. We also liked our stay on the Hurtigruten. Probably the most special day of all was May 17 when we experienced the joy and festival atmosphere on Norway's Constitution Day. We shared in the joy of the day admiring all the beautiful children in the parade and the stupendous costumes worn to signify the different regions in Norway. The fact that we met Torunn was so special!

I have had an exceptionally good experience working with UpNorway and especially the help of Torunn.

I used their services to set up a family trip to Norway in celebration of our wedding anniversary scheduled for June 2021. Unfortunately, Covid made the trip impossible for a group of 15 Americans trying to visit Norway, but UpNorway agreed to reschedule the same trip for June 2022.

Then, at the last minute, health problems intervened and we had to cancel the trip completely. Throughout all these changes and the final cancellation process, Torunn was able to make a wide variety of changes to trip details while providing excellent suggestions and solutions to our problems.

Although our family has not yet been able to visit Norway, I have found Torunn and UpNorway to be extremely helpful, reliable, and supportive under very trying circumstances. The service has been consistently professional and completely satisfactory -- some day I hope to make the trip and meet these good folks.

Norway & Lofoten Islands are incredible: Nature is so powerful and landscape breath-taking. There is no doubt about it but there was something more in this trip.
First, the way Up Norway Team (in particular Henriette) responded the inquiry with good reactivity, trying to understand our expectations, presented a detailed trip and then summarized everything in a nice application with useful links.
Then we have to say that Up Norway managed to set-up a work environment with very good Teams/Partners who really add magical spirit in the experiences! In fact all the people we meet (entire Hattvika Team), Guide from Lofoten_eriders for the Hike & Team at XXLofoten for RIB Safari & Northern Lights excursion) truly bring added values with their kindness, lot of attention and advices, always trying to match our expectations and to accommodate weather changes to benefit a very good experiences. All of them are hearted people showing this lovely place on an even better good angle.
We really enjoyed as well the meals at both restaurants of Hattvika & Svinøya Rorbuer.
We can only recommend other to contact Up Norway to organize incredible vacations in Norway !

Pauline and Karin from Up Norway helped me plan the best holiday of my life and I cannot be more grateful for this. I discovered an incredible country, remarkable people and all the activities designed for me created the perfect picture. Nature was also on my side, it snowed almost every day and the husky and reindeer sledding looked like pages from a fairytale. It was cloudy every night which made it impossible to see the Northern lights but on my last night in Alta the clouds moved away and I was able to see them with naked eye not far from the city centre. The best way to end an amazing holiday. 
I already miss the generous people with their incredible stories, the landscape and of course, the food. I will definitely come back with more adventures. Thank you Up Norway for making everything possible for me.

We traveled to Norway Dec, 17 to Jan 3, 2022. Main part of our journey was Tromso and Lyngen Alps. Up Norway had arranged everything for us. It was well organised. The whole experience was great, and whale safari, aurora lights and dog sledging were the highlights. BUT, a big "but": the price we paid was extremely high. At least 50% more than the sum of the individual prices of hotels, transfers, dinners and activities. Meaning that Up Norway's fee was over 5000 Euros. I tried to contact them and get some details about the pricing structure, but their associate told me that their partners pricing is confidential. Which of course anyone can find on the internet, so I do not really understand any reason for "confidentiality". I realize that any travel agency is not working for free, but I could not imagine such an overprice. In order to avoid any mistake I sent to their associate the list with all our activities and their price, but she still refused to become specific. It's a pity, because their service was good, but I'd suggest to search for an alternative.

Grateful to Up-Norway for having made such an incredibile adventure to become reality in such a short time. We needed to schedule a trip in Norway with so much things we wanted to do that apparently was impossible, and in few days up-Norway has made a suitable stunning tailored trip, based exactly on what we would like to do in the best possible way. Hiking on the fjords, kayaking in rivers and the North Sea, trail whales and puffins, sleeping in remote beautiful lighthouses, see the most intriguing architectures into northern forests and coasts, taste the best Norvegian food, fishing on a ancient boat, driving through the most spectacular scenic routes, climbing uninhabited islands, sleeping in domes under the sky and swimming between kelp forests.
That’s only a teaser of what we experienced in a bit more than a couple of weeks, and all thanks to the perfect organization of Up-Norway which made this dream coming true.
We are looking forward to come back to Norway soon !!!
