So far I’ve only used upgrade for vacations. It’s very simple to use and a fast process. I do like the monthly payments vs the biweekly! There are some lodging companies (ex: vrbo) or shopping compani... See more

always on point help me when i need to pay over time
Very easy to use!
It was easy and fast.
Timing
Being able to take the trip but split up the payments to avoid putting it on a credit card.
unauthorized $903…
Upgrade withdrew an unauthorized $903 from my bank account one day after I made my normal scheduled payment. The withdrawal occurred on a different date than my agreed payment date and was never approved by me.
I contacted them immediately while the transaction was still pending, but after speaking with three representatives, including a manager, I was told I would need to wait days for a “review” and potentially up to two weeks to receive my money back.
What concerned me most was the lack of urgency or accountability regarding unauthorized access to a customer’s bank account. Consumers should be aware that even when reported immediately, resolution is not prompt.
Application done online.
Very easy to apply online

The process was smooth and easy
The process was smooth and easy. The only thing was the credit cards that I wanted to pay off they couldn't process or it didn't recognize the company. So I had to put the funds towards other cards.

Quick and easy to navigate... Non judgemental.. A blessing for me
I really don’t know
I really don’t know. I did not set it up. My Daughter did, but it was taking her a long time. She was having a hard time.
Proceed with caution
Upgrade was easy to get money from initially years ago. I used the cash line of credit many times and always paid them back without ever being late over the course of 5 years or so. Recently, they decide to eliminate the option to use the cash lines, I have two cards with them and also had a loan that I paid off in full. Today they removed thousands of dollars in credit from both cards, essentially lowering the limits from six thousand to five hundred dollars. Both cards now show a negative balance and have become useless. At the same time they keep spamming me with personal loan offers, make it make sense. I don't need Upgrade since I have many other credit cards and tried to close the card accounts, they told me I had to pay the balances in full or they won't close the accounts. This is my experience with Upgrade. Proceed with caution. They damaged my overall credit score by removing almost all of the available credit. This is bad business.
