Loved our second stay with Unyoked. A true nature escape and reset. Just what the doctor ordered!! Always such a great respite/retreat. Off grid, out of range, in the forest, and still a super comfortable, easy experience. The best of both worlds. Everything you need, and nothing you don't. Simplicity. Tranquility.

Really lovely stay at Sage! The instructions for getting to the location , what to do on arrival and finding the cabin were spot on. The cabin itself was lovely , had everything we needed and in a beautiful setting. A really lovely couple of days our pup really enjoyed it too !

Two nights of pure bliss and switching off. I immediately crashed as soon as I got here, I definitely needed the break and reset. The location and views are absolutely stunning and to be surrounded by nature in a cosy cabin was all I needed. Comfortable but considered simplicity. The large windows made it so enjoyable. I don’t want to return back to hectic work and family life! I could stay here forever.

Incredible place, clean, amazing views. Clear and easy instructions and a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay with Unyoked! It was the perfect opportunity for my partner & I to escape from our busy lives & have some chill fun for a few days. We loved the peace & quiet we got to reconnect with eachother & ourselves. It was so much fun exploring the surroundings & finding little side quests to fill our days. Overall, a very positive experience!

Really genuinely lovely time. Super well equipped cabin, everything you could need. So pleasantly surprised by the performance of the shower and the fridge? We had some great meals on the fire outside. Despite the heatwave, the flow through of air was great. Super peaceful location and didn’t see another soul. Would recommend!

We had a lovely break from the daily grind. No phone, no email, no worries. The biggest challenges were getting your stuff to the cabin, what to have for dinner, how to make best use of the firewood, and what wine to drink. Yes. It's muddy and dirty whenever you have to go outside, but the shower works well, the toilet is inside, and it's a cozy little cubby in the middle of nowhere.

Stayed in Dalby Forest and the location is absolutely incredible. Feels like you have an entire forest to yourself.
The cabin was really great and very well equipped, super private.
I had to contact unyoked a couple of times (no problems) and they were v friendly and speedy replying.

We stayed in Ossie in Suffolk. The cabin was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and it was the perfect setting to switch off our phones and relax. Unyoked are great at communicating - they give you written instructions, a map and photographs to guide you to the cabin and inform you of what to expect and what you need to bring. We loved every minute of our chilled weekend. Would definitely recommend this experience to others.

We recently stayed at the Unyoked cabin in Pipers Creek and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.

On the day of our arrival we were informed that the gas heater was broken. In the middle of winter, heating is not a luxury, it is an essential part of the accommodation. Despite this, we were only offered a small partial refund if we chose to continue with our stay.

We decided to make the best of the situation, but the lack of heating had a significant impact on our trip. The cabin was uncomfortably cold, none of our clothes dried because of the constant rain, and we couldn’t even enjoy the outdoor fire as everything was too wet. The complimentary Negronis and extra firewood they later offered were appreciated, but they did not make up for the inconvenience of staying in a cabin without adequate heating.

The most disappointing part was the handling of the situation afterwards. There appeared to be poor communication within the team, with different staff providing different information, and despite multiple conversations, they refused to provide a fair refund for what we believe was a major failure in the accommodation provided.

We booked this getaway expecting a cosy winter escape, but instead spent the weekend trying to stay warm. Customer service is measured by how businesses respond when things go wrong, and unfortunately this experience fell well below expectations.

I hope Unyoked reviews its approach to customer care because a broken heater during winter deserves a much more reasonable resolution than what was offered.

Overall, a wonderful stay.
Loved lying in bed each morning and hearing the birds chat outside.
Location was also central to many wineries so we could leave our car at the place and walk from winery to winery.
Although smaller than what we expected from the photos, it suited two people perfectly.
We wish we had stayed longer!

Had a nice time! Nicely curated site/stay, but Unyoked is VERY expensive. It is hundreds more than some of their competitors, but the remoteness is the enticing factor.

This was exactly the experience I needed. The cabin was comfortable and cosy and the vibe was exactly right. I would highly revcommend this experience for anyone just needing some breathing space.

Clean off grid cabin with all required amenities to make for a great relaxing weekend. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

Amazing time, super cozy and relaxing to spend a few days out in the middle of nowhere.
Everything was intuative to use, the pizza oven, fire pit, and hammock were particular highlights. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys nature.
Only small things are that the cabin can get extremely hot in the sun, so make sure you have some shade nearby to make use of, some kind of small, tent like roof that could be moved around outside could be a good addition to pair with the hammock, etc. This could also be good for the rain. The other small thing is to watch out if you want to walk onto the wooden porch-like area outside the door of the cabin when it's sunny, it has been painted black so gets extremely hot, remember to wear shoes

Overall, it was a great experience, and I am likely to do it again, perhaps in the autumn.

It is a nice way to get out into nature however was disappointed at the level of comfort considering the high cost of the experience. Solar power ran out an hour after sunset despite only having some LED lights on for a couple of hours. With no way to gauge how much power is left it is difficult to manage power usage, relax and enjoy. With head torches on and no hot showers it felt almost if we could have been camping instead. Since there was no reception, no way to contact the host and no instruction in the booklet on what can be done. It was outlined that power may run out if using at a high level and not to bring external heaters etc, but was not described in a way that sets the expectation that this is more likely to occur in less sunny seasons and what can be done if you do run out.
It was less than the comfortable cosy stay we had expected.

My experience at the Henry cabin was nothing short of magical. It was so completely secluded in what felt like a private valley with the sounds of the nearby stream and summer birdsong. An unexpected perk was being able to watch the local deer on the moor from the cabin decking at sunset. It was like being in a fairy meadow and I cannot put into words how beautiful the location was. The cabin was so clean and comfortable and well stocked and had everything needed and there were stunning nearby hikes to go on. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

I stayed at Maynard with my 2 girls. We had an amazing experience. Fully decompressed and made some amazing memories with them. Perfect combination for me of being at one in nature whilst also having the key luxuries to make a visit to it easy. We will be back again.

I think everyone needs two nights off - just to do nothing. We stayed at Gili - far enough to be alone, but still close enough if needed. If you ever get the chance, make sure you do it.

We had a lovely stay at Cabin Lottie and really appreciated how cute, functional, and comfortable the cabin was. It was such a nice opportunity to disconnect and spend time in nature.

We do have a few suggestions that we hope will help improve future guests’ experiences. When we arrived, the toilet wasn’t as clean as we expected, and there was quite a bit of dust inside the cabin, which unfortunately triggered my husband’s allergies. We also planned to use the firewood for the bonfire. We understood that we could let the team know afterwards and be charged to the card on file, so we didn’t think it would be an issue. However, the fire starter container was empty, so we weren’t able to get the fire going as planned.

Aside from these minor issues, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The peaceful setting and thoughtfully designed cabin made for a wonderful escape, and we’d definitely consider staying with Unyoked again. We hope this feedback helps make an already great experience even better for future guests.
