Breach of guidelines
University living is a scam
My experience with University Living has been very bad, and I really wish I had chosen a different agent. First, they don’t respond quickly after you move in. They also promise cashback and things like “house deals,” but in the end you get nothing. This was especially the case with Vershika. I hope no one else falls into the same trap that I did.

Made finding accommodation super easy
I’m in my first year looking for a studio for next year and it’s been hard to find a place alongside my studies . I contacted university living and Prateek got back to me sending me various options for next year and even booking my viewings . All I had to do was attend the viewings and pick what place was best for me and it was made so much easier thanks to him !

I had a really good experience with University Living. The staffs (Divyanshi Kesarwani and Shreya Jha) were kind and patient. I was able to find a good place at the comfort of my house. Other services provided were extremely useful, especially while moving to a Non-English speaking country.

Scammers
Do not use this company. My daughter enquired about accommodation and was contacted by WhatsApp where the person proceeded to harass the group for information and payment without giving any details of the accommodation and wanted the deposit before issuing a contract. Th9s is against UK law. Company is based in India and not London as they claim. Pressuring students to pay by constantly messaging. Avoid at all costs.

Save your time, get your living space elsewhere
Please read the reviews here before contacting them for the services. Absolutely terrible, and I suspect that they might be a scam.
I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with University Living and want to warn others before they fall into the same trap.
First of all, they only contacted me at midnight (Australia time), which is already unprofessional for any legitimate housing service. Despite claiming their business is registered in the UK, the agent who messaged me was using a number registered in India, which raised my suspicions immediately.
I clearly stated that I wanted a studio, yet they kept recommending rooms with shared kitchens and shared bathrooms—the complete opposite of what I asked for. Everything seemed fine at first, until they suddenly started pushing me to pay some sort of service fee “ASAP.” Right after that, they demanded I pay the bond fee immediately as well. The pressure was extremely uncomfortable and felt very unsafe.
When they sent me the “contract,” it looked half-done and totally unprofessional. It didn’t include the owner’s name or any essential terms that a proper rental agreement should contain. I did some research on the building they recommended and found multiple bad reviews mentioning it was unsanitary and poorly maintained, yet they continued sending me rooms from the same building as if everything was perfectly fine.
The next day, after realizing how shady everything felt, I decided to back out almost immediately. They then refused to refund my service fee, claiming it was a “back-out case” and that they had already “provided the service.” Apparently, their “service” was just sending me questionable listings at midnight and pushing me to sign a sketchy contract and pay fees nonstop. Also, considering this was all done outside normal working hours, it makes no sense how they could’ve contacted the property owner “so quickly.” Nothing added up.
I’ve accepted that I lost my money, but I don’t want others to go through the same thing. Please be careful — the entire experience felt suspicious, rushed, and very unprofessional.
I also suspect that they might be paying others to leave them fake 5-star reviews, as they all seem too recent and have multiple reviews on the same day
