Red Queen

Our first touchpoint for Red Queen accommodation was with Karen, the Manager of the property
She was professional, warm, funny, and hospitable.
The team at Req Queen mirrors the same vibe.
That is what makes it such a great and fun place to be in

A Parents View

A Parents View The Pinnacles Sheffield
Certainly would no longer recommend this place my son has been at the pinnacles for 3 years under DIGS ownership everything was great. Since Universal Student Living took over this year it’s all gone down hill. Repairs not carried out for weeks failed promise after failed promise. They haven’t paid Cashback as promised to the students and I’m currently starting legal action against them for recovery of it, after they assured me it would be paid by December 1st.
Glad that my son is in his final year as would not recommend he returns to this place.

Website Accessibility

I really like Jess she was super helpful and answered all my questions. The only issue I faced was accessing the website, it wasn't accesible in Kenya so I had to use a VPN and I couldn't do certain things on my end like add a guarantor, but Jess was able to do so from her end.

RUN DONT WALK! SAVE YOURSELF! DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I am giving 1 star because it is impossible to give 0. I have lived in b16 studios in Birmingham since November last year and stupidly just signed a contract to remain here until August next year which I regret immensely and am trying desperately to get out of.
The amount of faults with the building and number of months it takes them to fix even the simplest thing is ridiculous. The lift didn't work for 2 months when I arrived and is also currently not working, hasn't been for over a month and we have been given no information on when it will be fixed. The AC doesn't even exist in many if the rooms and the ones where ir does it doesn't work. I had no fridge or freezer for over 3 weeks in the middle of a heatwave, which combined with the lack of AC and a window that doesnt open meant I went 3 weeks with no sleep and wound up suffering from exhaustion and being signed off from work and university.
There are frequent faults with the building such as showers not working, electric going out, toilets not flushing. The basement recently flooded due to a manhole on the property not being cleared or maintained so we were unable to do laundry for over a week.
The entry fobs frequently stop working so people are locked out of the building. There have been bikes stolen from the storage downstairs and until recently there were homeless people squatting in empty rooms in the building.

I have requested information to make a complaint on three occasions and have twice been told they're not allowed to give me that information and the third time the information I was given led to my complaint going to my building manager despite my specifically asking that this not happen. Plus the worse the situation in the building has got the ruder and less helpful the staff have got. When there are any staff here sgvsllmv

There is so much more I could say but I will finish on this note - if you value your mental and physical health DO NOT come to live at B16 Studios on Hagkey Road. I initially thought that the cheap rent would make the sacrifices in quality worth it but it isn't worth it at all.
Save yourselves.

AVOID AT ALL COST - YOU WERE WARNED

I highly suggest you look elsewhere. This company only wants your money and does not care about anything else but. They have a new building called Fulham Palace Studios. Don't bother trying to get your mail here OR even trying to get a hold of someone to help. I am telling you to not consider this place if you are planning to move to London. Save yourself. May the force be with you.

Even before I moved into Charlotte…

Even before I moved into Charlotte House I attempted to call the onsite manager which I had no response. I had a 5-hour wait outside the accommodation. I have had a pretty awful experience at Charlotte house, with the first manager agreeing to fix everything that was broken with my flat and room and have nothing done, to the new manager also promising to fix the issues, with them only to have been sorted today, Tuesday the 3rd of December. A 12 week period of issues, including No Hot water in our flat kitchen! Issues with the shower leading to again no hot water and then broken heaters and bed in my room bearing in mind November and December have been very cold, and a few other issues such as laundry not working after a breach in the security of the Accommodation took place. Pretty sure terms and conditions would not look favorably on these issues. All I received from these complaints was sorry with no compensation as of yet and a refusal to dissolve the agreement so I could have a least moved out.
I strongly advise. against anyone considering finding a place in charlotte house as you will be disappointed.
