I thought I gave money to Ukraine

Youtube is flooded with their adds begging for donations. But these adds cost ALOT of money. Worst of all is that they post these adds under diffrent topics like "clothing" or whatever topic. Wich means you cant block them. Wich is just yet more fraud.
The amount of money wasted on these pathetic adds could have been used to help people.
The "NO ASVERTISING" sticker on our mailbox is especially for detestable corrupt beggars like UNHCR, which of course they just ignore. 🖕
This organisation is deplorable the United Kingdom is in financial dire straights the majority of people in UK are over the breadline hardships are at a high and these guys preaching to us to hand over £82.00 to a foreign land and people that has nothing to do with us the government in the UK needs to intercede and stop these adverts period
Mishandling donation money!!!
I gave money to one of their online appeals for displaced families.
One month later I get a letter in the post FULL of paper newsletter more embellished, cover letter, etc.
The postage stamp, paper magazine and extra envelopes and other letters inside COST MONEY.
This was supposed to be donation money to a good cause.
Now I realise that the UNHCR is wasting huge portions of money on bumpf.
Have they not heard of email? It's FREE!
I will not give to the UNHCR again.
This is a typical charity which burns vital money for no reason.
Probably the directors get a few hundred thousand per year too!
I am annoyed that this charity wastes 85 pence of each donation on a 'thank you' letter in the post.
What a complete waste of donation money!
Have they not heard of emails?
Imagine what other money they are wasting from donations!
I won't be giving to this charity again.
As a donator to charity, I expect them to use diligence so that money is spent with wisdom and not carelessness.
Zero answers ,no help looks like a ghost organisation
Maybe it's my last review in Moldova, but let me express my thoughts finally. To me just the idea that refugee cannot work at UNHCR seems discriminating; I applied and got ignored. As for the support from UNHCR, I'm always "third" from the two possible and have to "do all by myself" (see KVON end of the video "Women can make anything an insult"). And it's not just my experience. With employment - all refugees have to confuse their mind with dozens of useless links and accidentall phone numbers of "employers" sent from UNHCR to mobile app, instead of practical individual assistance. I get discriminated by the society because they think refugees have some unconditional basic income/living/penthouse/ and as a given already have a family. I hope everything will be improved, because what I see at UNHCR in Moldova is complete mess that looks more like a garage party with black jack and...[women rights notice].
I have a good experience with the UNHCR mission in Tokyo, Japan.
