NEVER AGAIN!

Am 21.02. sind wir umgezogen und haben uns bewusst für eine professionelle Umzugsfirma entschieden, um sicherzustellen, dass alles gut ankommt. Die Kommunikation mit Junker war im Vorfeld sehr gut das Angebot kam schnell, die drei Mitarbeiter waren pünktlich, und es gab vorab noch einen Anruf zur Bestätigung des Starts.

Die drei Kollegen vor Ort waren freundlich, einer sprach besonders viel und wirkte wie der Leiter. Wir wiesen sie auf die Fernseher hin, die in Decken verpackt wurden. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben.

Plötzlich war der LKW angeblich voll, obwohl noch einiges stehen blieb. Trotz der vorherigen Aussage, es passe alles „locker“ rein, mussten wir selbst nochmal fahren. Beim Entladen merkten wir, dass der Wagen nicht vollständig gepackt war. Wir überließen das den „Experten“.

Beim Entladen informierte mich einer der Mitarbeiter, dass ein Möbelstück auf den frisch gemachten Holzboden gefallen sei. Das hat mein Mann unter anderem auch direkt gesehen. Der Mitarbieter sagte er habe es direkt seinem Vorgesetzten gemeldet. Mein Mann bestätigte das der Mitarbeiter sogar Fotos davon gemacht hätte. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Offenheit und Professionalität.

Später in der alten Wohnung wollte ich, dass die ungenutzten Kartons mitgenommen werden, was laut Auftrag auch vereinbart war. Stattdessen wurde ich mit leeren Versprechungen beruhigt. Am Abend des 22.02. beim Auspacken stellten wir fest: Der Fernseher war beschädigt.

Beide Schäden wurden mit Fotos an Junker gemeldet. Der Boden sei ja laut Mitarbeiter bereits gemeldet worden mehrfach wurde uns das versichert.

Für den Fernseher haben wir, nach Einschaltung eines Anwalts, ein Teil von der Versicherung erhalten. Heute, am 15.04., kommt jedoch ein Schreiben von der Versicherung, dass der Boden angeblich schon beschädigt gewesen sei. Wir empfinden das als absoluten Vertrauensbruch. Ich habe die Firma direkt angerufen und den betroffenen Mitarbeiter gemeldet.

Ein Kollege am Telefon war heute sehr professionell und verständnisvoll, danke dafür! Dennoch bleibt: Der gesamte Ablauf ist enttäuschend, und wir werden rechtlich weitergehen. Es gibt genug Zeugen.

Fazit: Aufgrund des heutigen Telefonats vergebe ich 1 Stern. Ohne dieses Gespräch wären es 0. Achtung: Bitte lest euch alle Bedingungen genau durch und lasst euch nicht blenden. Dieser Umzug war leider mit Stress und Ärger verbunden, den niemand erleben sollte.

We moved on February 21st and decided to hire a professional moving company to ensure everything would arrive safely. The communication with Junker beforehand was great we received a quote quickly, the three movers were on time, and we even got a confirmation call to check if everything started smoothly.

The three workers were friendly. One of them talked a lot and seemed to be the team leader. We pointed out the TVs, which were wrapped in blankets. We felt we were in good hands.

Suddenly, we were told the truck was full, even though a lot of things were still left behind, despite him saying everything would easily fit. We already suspected he was more talk than knowledge. Still, we accepted it as our mistake. We noticed the truck wasn't packed fully during unloading, but we let the "experts" handle it.

The lead mover later told me a piece of furniture had fallen onto our freshly done floor. He claimed he reported it immediately to his manager. My husband confirmed that, and said a photo was taken as well. We were impressed by the honesty and professionalism.

Back at the old flat, I asked them to take the unused boxes as agreed in the contract. Again, more empty promises. On the evening of February 22nd, while unpacking, we discovered the TV was broken.

We reported both damages to Junker via email with photos. The mover had assured us multiple times that the floor damage had already been reported.

After involving a lawyer, we finally received some compensation for the TV. But today, April 15th, we received a letter claiming the floor was already damaged. This is a serious breach of trust. I called the company directly and reported the responsible employee.

The colleague I spoke with today was very professional and understanding, thank you for that. However, the overall experience has been very disappointing, and we will continue legal steps. We have witnesses.

Conclusion: Because of today’s professional phone call, I give 1 star. Without it, it would have been 0. Please be cautious, read everything carefully, and don’t get fooled. This move was stressful and frustrating no one should have to go through this.

Professional, efficient and reasonably priced

The movers were professional and efficient. Four employees came for a relatively large flat. The furniture was handled with care, but the move didn't take long and we were done by the early afternoon. Communication with the company and the staff on site was smooth. The price was agreed in advance and was reasonable. Despite our last-minute request (2-3 weeks before the moving date), we received the quote quickly after a short video call. I will definitely use the same company for my next move!

Fantastic from start to finish!

From start to finish Junker provided a fantastic service. Everything was well organised and they provided great communication before the actual move. On the actual day, the moving people were fantastic, they were incredibly helpful, making sure everything was taken care of. They really went above and beyond.

Moving was stress-free

I had a fantastic, stress-free experience with Junker. They were very communicative and accommodating. We got an appointment very quickly and the move itself went without a hitch.

Reliable

Terrific! Absolute reliable and solid.
Moved our kitchen with greatest care. Every piece was rapped and stored until delivery. Fast and professional communication. Total recommended.

They made it simple

They made it simple. The inventory for the quote was done over a video-call which was short and pleasant. They were punctual and reliable during the move, and even took apart some of my IKEA furniture and put it back together again.

Excellent company

We decided to hire their services following a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed!
With a newborn baby it was very clear to us that the task of packing a 3 room apartment on our own would be too much, so we took their packing service.
One day before the move 4 guys arrived just on time and packed up 90% of the stuff within 2 hours (and we have lots of stuff). The rest was packed on moving day and we had perhaps 60-70 boxes.
Moving went ahead with zero issues, all items intact, lamps installed and tv mounted on the wall. They even returned a day after, to check and fix a problem with our washing machine that ended up not being their fault at all.
Top service, top company!

Horrific

This company from start till the end has been horrific and has been the least professional company I ever used:
-1/ They used a subcontractor to do the removal instead of their own staff: guys did not have any packaging (they were supposed to pack our belongings), no uniform, were completely disorganized, and did not even have a form to list goods moved
-2/ When we received the goods, they were all humid, with lots of mould on our furniture, clothes & other belongings (it seems the goods had been somehow stored in a humid warehouse....). As goods were badly packed and protected, we also had s number of belongings broken.
-3/ 6 months after the move, we still had no financial compensation back from Junker. They don’t reply to email. When we manage to contact them, they promise to come back the following week but never do. They also say they are waiting an answer from their subcontractor when we paid for a specific insurance directly with Junker (for no effect apparently, I am not even sure if they really covered our goods or just took the money).
Overall a non-professional and dishonest company that nobody should use.
