From the original UltimatePR

I was the owner of the original UltimatePR which you will find at Companies House. The new UltimatePR is nothing to do with me as I have retired and moved home from the old registered address.

Adevrtising Scam

I was contacted telephonically from someone claiming they were working for Ultimate PR, to promote HWRK Magazine an online publication on +44 7767 217845.
I was offered an opportunity to advertise as a new business in the community and was told someone from the publication would contact me to confirm details for the mock-up to be sent to.
I was then called from +44 7763 989454 where my details (name, email were confirmed) and prompted for a card payment.

I did not have my card available and requested a callback. In the interim, I received a pro forma invoice from:accounts(at)ultimatepr(dot co dot uk). The invoice advised payments could be made online from the website hwrkmagazine(dot co dot uk)/payment/
However, the link failed to load (due to errors on the website visible in the developer console)
Further digging into reviews for HWRK magazine led me to TrustPilot, where there are a number of similar complaints.

I then tried following up on Ultimate PR - only to discover that as a company it was dissolved on 2 April 2019 (find-and-update.company-information.service(dot gov dot uk)/company/07228936)

I tried finding the PR company from which the email originated (ultimatepr(dot co dot uk)
), but received the following error: "This domain is already registered
This domain has been registered via IONOS and is not yet connected to a website. If you are the owner, you can manage it here"
A search on WHOIS showed that although the domain was registered in 2024, "Nominet was not able to match the registrant's name and/or address against a 3rd party source on 23-Feb-2024"
