Spectacular Hand-built Cabins
I thought very hard about what kind of cabin to place in the least populated county in the country, Loving County, Texas. The weather is harsh in serious west Texas, and only a hardy, well-built structure will endure. The next requirement was country comfort with the "hand-did" touch.
The good folks at Ulrich had the only answer; they built it in Texas, to my specs, and gave me
an on-site inspection to check it. On completion, they hauled it 300 miles of back roads, and 13 miles of caliche road to my remote site. Then they built on the great porch I needed. My cabin now overlooks the biggest watershed draw in the county, and the whole family begs for hunting weekends!
I couldn't have chosen better craftsmen than Ulrich. Their care, efficiency, and willingness to
customize and deliver is probably without equal. The cabin will provide enjoyment to several generations, and is already a tremendous asset to a remote Texas ranch.
