FALSE ADVERTISING

I am extremely dissatisfied with the handling of my order placed on 22nd March. I chose UKPOWERDEPOT specifically to avoid overseas shipping delays, yet at no point during checkout was it made clear that the item would be dispatched from abroad.

This lack of transparency is unacceptable. I urgently needed this item to operate my computer for work, and the unexpected delay has directly impacted my ability to do my job.

I requested an immediate update from customer services and an explanation for why the shipping origin was not disclosed at the time of purchase. Instead, I was sent a screenshot showing the item in transit from China, confirming that this company is not UK‑based at all and is misleading customers by implying otherwise.

This is false advertising and needs to be addressed without any further delay. .

WAS ALSO INFORMED IN THE WEBSITE I WOULD BE ORDERING A GENUINE LENOVO IDEAPAD CHARGER. WHAT I RECEIVED IS A CHINESE REPLICA

You wont get what you hoped for !!

The advert for this battery stated "Original battery for lenovo L14L21" and showed a picture of a genuine battery. Well it wasn't ! It took nearly a month to arrive and what I received was a cheap Chinese knock off that was worse than the one I replaced ! Beware of this bunch of crooks and DO NOT buy anything from them....

Do not order from this site. Updated.

Do not order from this site.
This is not a UK based company and my "official charger" stopped working in 3 months.

They claim to have 1 year warranty but they make it impossible to actually claim it. If you send them proof they say they havent received it. If you explain the issue they seem to not understand it.

A very poor experience.

EDIT: After much discussion, they sent a new unit which is now working fine. As such I am updating the rating to 3 stars.

Fraudulent company

Fraudulent company. Please don't be stupid to ignore all these warnings and still buy from this company. The products they sell are counterfeits and are at risk to cause fire.

This company put up photos of genuine products but shipped something completely different. Beware, they sell cheap knock-offs.

Misleading Product Listing and Dismissive Customer Service

I ordered a specific adapter model (AD2108020) from UK Power Depot, as clearly listed on their website. What I received was a generic, incompatible item with no visible model number. When I raised the issue, the seller claimed “product codes may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer and batch” and blamed me for “purchasing the wrong charging port” — despite the fact that their listing showed only one model and no variant options.

They refused to cover return costs and insisted I ship the item back to China, even though they present themselves as a UK-based supplier. Their responses were evasive and failed to acknowledge the misrepresentation. I’ve since raised a formal dispute through my credit card provider.

Avoid this seller if you expect transparency, accountability, or UK-standard consumer protection.

Scammers Avoid

Sold me an Asus product but sent some generic rubbish I could have actually bought in the UK for half the price. Now they are ignoring my emails asking for a return and refund, and oh yes, they have NOTHING to do with the UK as you might think. They are in CHINA.

This is a bogus company

This is a bogus company, stay away from them. I ordered a genuine Dell laptop battery as advertised, but received an imitation after it took so long to receive. I initiated return but was impossible. No contact telephone nor trading address. They asked me to sell the product before getting my refund. If you don't want to lose your money, stay away from them.

ZERO response to email comms with this company.

Contacted this company by email 1 Aug.

Asked some searching questions about the product (laptop battery) ..
Stated that if I had any confidence that the company is selling an 'original' product, it would be immediately tested as the intention was to engage as a small repairer business and wished to retain my good reputation, i.e. no customer complaints about poor capacity or rapidly failed battery.

Have received ZERO response from this company thus far.

This gives ZERO condifence to-date, that the listed product is in fact genuine "original" as stated.

Indeed, I believe that HP ceased manufacturing this product some time ago. Hence, even 'originals' are likely to have been stored for a long period.

Make up your own mind whether you wish to risk purchasing from this company.

Poor Quality

Bought a laptop battery from them to replace a failing Dell one.

Not worth the money, the new one discharges quicker than the one that was failing.

The original one when new used to power the laptop for a good 2 hours when it was new, this one from ukpowerdepot barely lasts 20 minutes.

You cannot contact them by phone, its all email and they want you to jump through hoops to avoid a return/refund.

Avoid!!!
