Poor product quality

A low rating due poor product quality and in particular the wood drill bits. The 16mm drill bit was undersize and the 17mm drill bit was about 2mm out of alignment which made drilling straight holes the right size a tad difficult. On the other hand service was very good with efficient and quick delivery. I returned the items and promptly received a full refund.

Poor quality product

Despite having purchased enough to qualify for free next day delivery it took 3 working days to arrive
That wasn’t a problem but the quality of the bits was poor and had to buy more elsewhere to complete the job

Thumbs Up!

Easy to deal with. Prompt delivery. Unorthodox drill sizes which are difficult to find elsewhere. Very decent price. And high quality. Happy customer here.

Good delivery but poor drill bit

The drill arrived very quickly and was a good price. However, it performed extremely poorly. It was a 13mm wide, 460mm long auger. It failed to remove the swarf at all so the bit head became jammed and compacted almost immediately, requiring a spike and a lot of effort to clear it. My old auger (12mm x 400mm long), fared much better even though it was a little short for the job.

Hi, please let us know what drill bits you purchased. Our TCT drill bits are the only drill bits we recommend for tough stainless steel, however people do tend to purchase from our standard HSS range which simply won't work. Drop us a message and we will see if we can resolve this for you.
