Great Customer Service
I have used Match many times over the last 4 years , whilst some of the comments on here about the site are at times valid - the poor customer service is Not correct in my experience.
I have always had Great Customer Service and prompt responses and even today a reply and refund from them.

match.com is a scam, not only have they took payment for a different dating site that comes under their data sharing umbrella Activity

I don't know anything about Meetic so why did they manage to take same amount of payment on the same day as match? Plus no direct way of contacting these fraudsters

They changed their site software, member locations were changed, move to other continents, Mine was Alaska. The are so many fake profiles, one that are years old, but use the same photo, profiles and never age. and new locations that don't exist on any map
My profile was taken down as they considered my email address had been compromised, it hadn't their new AI s/e. but I was talking to a promising lady, who now thinks I gaslighted her. Match UK want a new email address, and password and profile to restore.
They wont accept most people only have 1 email address , subsequent addresses have to be purchased. I have lost Friends , subscription and all confidence in Match UK ,

Really not great. I paid for 6 months.

I narrowed down search re. Location (within 30miles) & age..... However, suggestions & people approaching me from everywhere in UK (and Europe) and from 20's to 70's (I even double checked I'd set parameters correctly & I had).
My friend who lives 90 miles away had completely different criteria to me, yet when we compared to had all the same blokes suggested in the same order.

Grim dont fall for this scam, usual bunch of USA based tricksters, Thousands of fake profiles. wont be around much longer.

Their address can not be resolved until evening time so either their servers are down most of the day time and they scale up in the evenings or their configurations on servers /load balancers doesnt work anymore..so 1 week of service I bought and only evenings maybe for a few hours their web page is up and working.. Literally they should stop getting people's money for no service, its corrupt!

Totally unable to cancel my subscription. Repeated attempts to cancel online failed. Unable to find a way to contact customer support by phone or email.

Shocking site, full of fake profiles, they even send you dodgy emails to say had views and likes which is total 💩 don’t waste time or money here. Shud be shut down it’s that bad now!

Unable to delete my account. No option to do so on app or web site.

Scum. I want to cancel my subscription but by logging in to do this it just says "something went wrong". If I choose to delete by payment details I get warned my card will still be charged. If I choose to delete my profile I get warned that I agree to loose my benefits while I agree to pay Match the subscription. No choice but to contact my CC provider and hard cancel. Scum

It falsifies who's actually online and it falsifies views and likes!

Sister site Single and Mature riddled with scam,lies ,women sending pornographic images in return for payment,begging messages for cash and I message straight forward prostitute, it is racketeering on an industrial scale

I found the way out of my subscription and contract. While searching I noticed the number of profiles with only one photo and very limited info in profile. I also noticed the same profiles all had no children.
I did reverse image searches using google lens and found lots of these profiles had multiple social media hits using different names.
I reported these to the admin team and followed up with an email using ‘help’ section of settings. I got the usual ignorant apologies, but I kept at them and started sending screenshots of fake profiles as replies to the admin email. I made several complaints about my safety and the company’s crap screening procedures.
After 5 emails I requested to have my profile cancelled and all future subscriptions stopped. Today I got an email saying that as a gesture of goodwill all future subscriptions stopped have been removed. Checked with my bank and they confirmed.
I’M FREE FROM MATCH.

I don't usually do reviews, but I think people should know what a terrible company they are. After one day I got blocked out of my account, I can only asume it was maybe a VPN issue on my phone or computer, I certainly made no violations but no reason or information given. tried to get in touch, but there is no phone number, only email, which they completely ignore. I've since learned this has happened to a lot of people. I don't understand how they are allowed to get away with this.

I spoke to my Bank, and they cancelled the continuing monthly paying request. The Bank said it will be for 13 months. Match will have run out of money well before then. There will be more and more fake profiles, if they cannot pay someone to remove them.

To think, I only wished to contact them to say goodbye.

Got blocked from my account now i can't even log on to unsubscribe but they keep taking money out of my account. Scum
