They now are Brainety, owner is Found by a Google searching for Rebilita UAB who is on your bill, then looking at Dunn & Bradstreet link. Search the director after that as usually they have profiles in other companies too. I finally got my money back after naming the owner/Director publicly to various government sites as only got run around by paypal and company for 3 months. Trustpilot have politely asked to remove it in lots of emails even though he is legally responsible for his company.
Facebook & Paypal should be more accountable for allowing the rebranding of same scams. This what I found so far & have not been able to verify what is on the sites, but seems to on multiple sites.

In Australia the final reseller is responsible for the warranty of services & billing which a lot of companies forget selectively, see ACCC if in Aus.

An unethical site that focuses on psychologically manipulating people to open their wallets. Of course, they make sure to waste your time and get you invested first.

Aheademy charged me $2.99 in February for a test on my credit card and 7 days after charged me another $79.99 ( for what?) without informing me. Since it was not the same day as the $2.99 I overlooked it and didn't discover it until July. At that time it was past the 180 days of the dispute window for my credit card.
Aheademy is running an extremely unethical operation. They should be tracked down and persecuted.

Very unethical site, their terms hide huge repeated fees. I'm guessing as there terms are available that they are not committing dictionary definable fraud - but I am no expert. Anyway, I saw their McAfee trusted logo and contacted McAfee who have confirmed they are not trusted and is going to pursue the case. Glad I read these reviews before being tempted to purchase.

I hate it when websites offer tests then ask for money for the results. feels like a scam

I too got scammed ! Did an I.Q. test and paid £2.99 for my results and a useless pdf certificate. I did quite well , my I.Q. was 121 which put me in the, Superior category. Then after discovering I`d been fleeced I just had to laugh. Superior I.Q. Huh ! Wasn't very clever dealing with this website was I ? Their business address is in Lithuania and it's websites like this that give Lithuanians a bad name , like they haven't already got one. SHAME ON YOU.

They robbed me off £400 in total,
Bank did not compensate as this is a Legal Loophole (New type of subscription scam)

Signed me up to a re-occuring £79.99 subscription service without any realisation. The website is strategised to limit awareness and emails are sent straight to spam and so never reach the customer.

AVOID!

I made the same mistake. It stated 2.99, instead I got charged 29.99. Unbelievable

I did a test yesterday - my partner did one yesterday, I paid for both. I unsubscribe on both and had the screen change to a message informing me, seemingly unhappy with my decision, about the fact I'd unsubscribed. Today, I check my credit card that's already in the minus and find that not only did I get charged the knowing 2.99 but also a 29.99 listed as 'lie'. Wt.. F? I unsubscribed and still got charged. What a ridiculous company. I will leave this comment here if I get refunded my 29.99 and edit it to inform if I get refunded. Furious.

How horrible to do this to people during a pandemic

I did an online test like many of the people reviewing here did. Though I was to be charged $2.99 (of course I didn't read the terms), I was charged $29.99. This was an instant red flag for me. Also the fact that I got an instant alert from my bank of a suspicious transaction got me curious. I then did an instant google search to see if anyone else had challenges with the company. After noticing a trend, plus people who had been debited hundreds of dollars/ pounds. I went back to the website to see how I could solve for it. I read the terms/ agreement in detail to see what ground I had (if any).

I won't say they are ’fraudulent’ but they stealthily take advantage of people who are in a hurry to purchase things without reading the terms and conditions. After reading the terms I noticed that I had inadvertently signed up for a premium service for $27 for a week and that if I didn't act fast I would be charged $79 every month for a service I wasn't intended in! In the terms, they also spelled out the process for cancelling the premium service including header titles, information that should be in the email etc.

I called my bank and explained the context and ensured there would be no further debits on my card while I was trying to resolve this. I then drafted a nice mail thanking the company for the test and stating that I understood that by accepting the agreement I had signed up for the premium service. And that based on the agreement I elected to refuse that offer and requested it be cancelled. I also requested a refund according to the terms. Basically I used their terms and conditions to craft a story without accusing them.

The next day or so I received a nice response (on a Sunday) that my subscription had been cancelled and that they had refunded the money back. I received the funds in a few days!

In summary, read the terms before you buy, if you didn't do that and you don't want the premium service act fast to get a refund and don't fly off the handle to resolve this. Get as much facts as are required from the terms and send an email request!

Such sly scamming people! Avoid!! Thought I was paying £2.99 but actually tried to charge me £29.99! Luckily my bank rejected it! But I have a feel they will try again! So angry! Hate people like this!! Grrrr

A legal loophole that in essence is a scam and should be stopped.

I have informed my bank, who unfortunately cannot stop the for 79.99 I have pending today, but are investigating this and all payments.

This company is fraud! They do not clearly explain charges. I thought I was only paying 2.99 gbp for a result. Then I was charged 29.99 gbp!!!

Scam do not use. It’s said £2.99 but took £34.58 with out any indication.

for everyone commenting, this is NOT fraudulent but it is sly. There is small print clearly stating u will be charged 29.99 and then ongoing to 79.99 recurring payment. This is NOT fraud but it is NOT a good site to use as there are plenty of free options out there. If you are charged do not go and moan to your bank about fraud as this will waste their time ( i worked with one for many years) just raise a dispute and get all your money back within 30 days max. Hope this helped anyone who is browsing. But i would recommend staying away from this site just incase u have to go through all of this to get your money back!
