Very disappointing support from such a big bank
I expected professional and reliable service from UBS, but my experience has been the opposite. I contacted them multiple times regarding a request and never got a proper answer.
Despite being told it would be followed up, no one ever got back to me. I sent several messages, tried calling, and kept being redirected with no result. Weeks went by with no progress, no transparency, and no accountability.
It’s honestly shocking how careless and slow the process was. For a bank that claims to offer premium service, this was one of the worst support experiences I’ve ever had.
Despicably customer service.
Emailed documents to transfer an account upon a death. Three weeks went by and no outreach from UBS. Upon inquiring, they offered an estate department appointment two more weeks out. Stated someone had called me, but could not get through. No missed calls, no messages and worse yet, not even a second attempt to reach me. I feel that someone isn’t really telling the truth. Upon escalating to a supervisor absolutely no consideration was offered. Absolutely horrific customer service.
you have to run from ubs now
you have to run from ubs now, they are thieves🏃🏃🏃🏃
UBS is a very unprofessional and…
UBS is a very unprofessional and fraudulent bank. They owe me CHF 400 since 2023 and they are still keeping me in circles to not give me my money back. They suspiciously charged one same transaction for the purchase of one single flight ticket with IBERIA via bank transfer, using the same reference and transfer details the 3 times, arguing that I approved that transaction thrice. On what mind does that make sense? If that was an electronic issue of their banking platform, why should I bear the consequences? Other than that they are expensive and the investment fund they recommended me to invest in (sustainable fund) in 2019 is still underperforming... go for a much more cost-effectve bank with a much better customer service and zero fraud if you need to bank in Switzerland

They took money from me knowing im from ukraine. Since i want to leave switzerland i tried to transfer my money from ubs to my foreign account, now they blocked my account due to investigations cause im
from ukraine and may have connection to russia. Im currently in Phuket and they want me to go back to Zurich UBS. Why they opened the account then ? Now they loose the client and i have to i volve my lawyers. I just transfer the money to european country, not to russia or somewhere.
If I could rate a zero
If I could rate a zero, I would.
Almost one month (starting 4/4/2025), transferred from one person to another and unable to pull my son’s money out of his college fund. Ridiculous. They have placed me on hold times (without checking in) of more than ten minutes. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Opening an account
I tried to open an account with ubs after several attempts trying to reach someone I was asked to fill a form in which wasn’t editable eventually when this was finished and sent off they didn’t answer my questions properly and failed to open the account. If this is the kind of service ubs provides to its customers it’s incredibly poor and inefficient.

I have tried multiple times to get in contact with multiple advisors, and they never respond to me.
don’t seem to make you any money…
They don’t seem to make you any money when the stock market goes up your account doesn’t do anything, stock market goes down. Your account goes down. I just do not see the point of using them. They’re pointless for 10 years. I should’ve taken my money out 10 years ago.
Number one bank? DOWN AGAIN
The website is down once again and users are unable to log in to their e-banking.
This is outrageous.
Employ actual IT people who can deliver.
Avoid UBS like the plague. There's better alternatives.
Trying to get a recently decreased loved one's retirement account distributed to family members.
10 weeks after notification and we still don't have the money.
UBS took 3 weeks doing a legal review before asking us to sign and notarize a letter of authorization. After the letter was sent in it took another 2 weeks to approve it. Then it took another 2 weeks to just schedule an appointment to create the our UBS accounts to be funded from the decreased accounts. It took another 3 weeks for the accounts to be created. We're waiting on funding now and per UBS it's just 1-3 business days. We are waiting on funding so we can roll out the funds to other financial institutions.
Additionally they have grossly under performed compared to their peers. My loved one's account only increased 25% in 20 years. My own and family members have accounts at other financial institutions have increase 125%+ in that time.
Terrible experience and lack of…
Terrible experience and lack of transparency. I closed my UBS bank account 6 months ago, and to date I still haven’t received all my funds back because of an error during account closure on their side. Customer service keeps telling the payment is being processed or the request is with the relevant department, but nothing happens and no one seems responsible for solving the issue. I have sent three complaints with no response in the past months. Definitely would not recommend.

Unprofessional and Rude Service – Take Your Business Elsewhere
I received nothing but frustration and rude comments from my financial advisor at UBS. The lack of professionalism and respect was shocking, and I didn’t hesitate to take my business elsewhere immediately. If you're looking for a brokerage that values its clients and provides courteous service, I highly recommend staying away from UBS. The experience was completely disappointing, and I won’t be returning.

I’m an international student in Switzerland and have been using UBS Bank since 2023. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service. The customer support is excellent , they were incredibly helpful and polite when I recently lost my bank card. Even though I didn’t understand everything at first, they patiently guided me through the process.
One of the things I really appreciate is the bank’s user interface, which is clean and intuitive. I compared it with my friend's bank, and I found that their interface was much more complex and harder to navigate.
As a student, I also value the UBS points program. It’s really helpful for managing my budget, allowing me to use points to purchase groceries and other essentials.

fees are too high
UBS charges too much for all their services. There are a lot of other banks with the same services and even better digital services, that charge they customers a lot less money.
Don't ever become a UBS customer, look for something else.
Hell, even to contact their customer service by phone you have to pay a fee per minute...

Lousy Customer Service
Is not only unbelievable bad, there isn't any Customer Service at all, waiting 1/2 hour to 1 hour to talk someone. Now answer, not available for emergencies. Incredible, this is my Country Switzerland. We have to save a CS, incorporated int UBS. Both a desaster.
Unprofessional and Arbitrary Client Treatment – UBS Lost My Business
As a profitable corporation based in Switzerland for over 5 years, I expected UBS to be a reliable banking partner. Instead, I was met with unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and arbitrary decision-making.
Despite a long-standing and successful relationship with UBS, they unexpectedly terminated my corporate account without clear justification. No valid reason was given, and their communication throughout the process was vague and dismissive.
Lack of Transparency: UBS refuses to provide a clear explanation for the account closure, making it impossible to address any alleged concerns.
Disruptive to Business Operations: As a Swiss company, being abruptly removed from UBS caused significant operational and financial disruption.
Poor Customer Relations: Instead of working with clients to resolve issues, UBS chooses to discard even profitable, compliant businesses without warning.
This treatment is unacceptable from a so-called "premier" bank. If you’re a business looking for a stable and professional banking relationship, UBS is not the partner you can trust. I strongly advise against banking with them if you value reliability and professionalism.
So unbelievably bad
So unbelievably bad. Forget about the high fees, they rarely reply to my messages and with great delay. They charged me fees and did not follow instructions when I asked to close my credit card. Then when I got asked to close all of my accounts and send to Neon they wrote the details of where to send the money wrong!
Credit Suisse
Credit Suisse, now UBS. Terrible service. They blocked my online banking and made me go in person to show my ID. BUT there are very few offices and their opening hours are a joke (9-12, 14-17). So I had to take off work... Outdated processes, most banks can handle this online.
Unfair Interest Charges
Unfair Interest Charges – A Hidden Trap!
My wife accidentally made a credit card payment of around 2,400 CHF. We paid the full amount, but UBS didn’t take the money immediately. Instead, they delayed the transaction for up to three weeks while continuing to charge us an outrageous interest fee of 88 CHF per month!
When we called customer service, they simply told us that this is their process. Meanwhile, the delay works entirely in their favor, costing customers like us significant extra money. This feels like a deliberate scheme to profit from unnecessary interest charges.
Be very careful when dealing with UBS credit cards! Their system is designed to maximize fees at your expense. I strongly advise others to reconsider before banking with them.
