Customer service Ben from Ubank Sydney didnt help at all and caused more stress and waste of money. When you need to get in contact with ubank good luck. Staff have no idea and you find yourself explain your problem to 4 different people and waste half your day. Ubank dont listen or contact you back. Dont waste your time with these fools. Good on you Ben just lost a long term customer.
Unreliable
The update to the new Ubank was terrible! I got a text message 5 months after they sent the new cards. Straight after the text our cards no longer work and my account details will no longer work. So have to wait for my pay to be redirected, my bills are unpaid because the direct debits didn't work and the updated card/online 'experience' look very cheap and not user friendly. I'll be leaving this bank. Do not recommend.
Ignorant receptionist and changing formats
I phoned up Ubank to get a current statement on the 133080 because the new format doesn't allow you to see your balance before and after transaction there is no tracking available in real time, to get a statement you have to wait till the end of the month... it's totally and utterly ridiculous ???
I spoke to this person and outlined the above mentioned if i can get a current running balance with transactions like the old format
Well get this she got me to reopen a new account, thinking that i would have the old format well i end up with the current nonsense i explained to this person this exercise was a total waste of time no different to what it was ?
So i learnt that everybody that requires TO SEE THEIR CURRENT RUNNING BALANCE BEFORE AND AFTER TRANSACTIONS HAS TO PHONE AND HAVE IT EMAILED TO THEM UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO WAIT TILL THE END OF THE MONTH HOW TIME CONSUMMING FOR SOMETHING THAT ALWAYS HAS BEEN THE NORM
Furthermore the ignorant person hung up on me when i picked out that she wasted my time for nothing making reopen a new account ???
Criminal and rubbish bank
Criminal and rubbish bank, customer service can barely fix the most basic issues. Been 5days without access to my money and only reason i can live is because of a credit card from another country. Theyr criminals in the way they offer no access to your account.
Don't use Ubank, disrupting every customer
Do not use UBANK. They are changing every customer Acc No and BSB and taking away functionality such as sweeps between accounts and increasing fees.
Their communication around this change has been disastrous eg first happen over Christmas, then cancelled, now will happen when it happens - they will text you need to scramble to pick up the pieces!
Their customer help line has imploded to multiple hours wait with customers scrabbling to even get access to their money.
They have no recognition of the large amount of work it inflicts on customers moving all their direct debits and credits etc.
DO NOT USE THIS BANK no concept of customer service

I love this bank. I've been a customer for many years and the latest move from their old ubank layout to the current has been great.
No way to contact UBank re a lost card
I like online banking so I setup this app. I have no uBank or NAB accounts. My debit card did not arrive at setup ie Augusrt 2022. I send an email without reply. Some months later it still has not arrived. I have locked it in app and have tried to date for a replacement without success and without any ubank person contacting me. I have sent emails without reply. I tried the call number x2: 1.5-2h wait time, so I left a message for call back as prompted but no response. I lately found their customer feedback email and sent my request again. An auto reply came stating that they will contact me in 3 days. I'm waiting without high expectations. Given that this is now a problem over several months with several attempts to contacxt the bank, I feel happy to post this review today even If I receive a response this week.

So far we have been on the phone waiting in excess of three hours over a 2 day period waiting to get help after our account was blocked. UBank is affiliated with National Australia Bank so we spoke with them in the hope of getting our account fixed after it was blocked. The NAB said they couldn't help us. During this time, you are forced to listen to the most repetitive and annoying wait "music".
This is the most disgraceful and useless bank in Australia. Closed my account with no prior notice whatsoever! Cant login to the app, cant use the debit card and cant access MY money. These guys have a MASSIVE lawsuit coming their way and deserve to be shut down for the horrible experience they've given. I am not alone in this. Check all their latest reviews. What a JOKE!

Great bank if you never want to be able to access your money
Lovely website but pity about the lack…
Lovely website but pity about the lack of any service if you want towithdraw money quickly by a temporary increase in your daily transfer limit. Apparently impossible to do, despite what it says on the Ubank Web site (the computer says no) . Spent many waiting hours lisening to Muzak trying to perform this seemingly impossible task. Overall a frustrating experience which I hope never have to repeat.
Ubank is horrendous
I have been with Ubank for 13 years. They were always great. Until they merged. They have made a new app and website and I have still not been able to log in. And the wait time to call for support is over 2 hrs. And they did not help me access my account. I am locked out and can't access my account. This bank is officially completely frustrating and horrible. Don't bank with Ubank. Find someone else.
On two occasions I've had to ring
On two occasions I've had to ring. First call I was on hold for one hour and ten minutes. This current call I'm on hold for 58 minutes without speaking to anyone.
Hopeless Customer Service
I have been calling every week from May 19-June 13. They locked my account because of password attempts. I am currently overseas and cannot receive code because I do not have my aussie number anymore. I rang them 4 times already and spent €120 and nothing happened. Spoke to 4 representatives and all were saying due to IT issues that I cannot receive email for my temporary password. The last call they put me on hold to connect to the manager, 30 minutes on hold and no answer. It is so frustrating that you cannot access your own money. The customer service is hopeless. Never been disappointed with a bank, only with Ubank. Hope you can do something. I spent €120 for nothing. This is unacceptable.
