Very poor customer service at the MOT reception. „Gentleman” was consistently unkind and unprofessional at every occasion. However, he went significantly beyond rudeness and unprofessional behaviour when he called me 20 minutes after I had paid and collected my car, questioning how I dared to ask for a proof of the replaced part. I believe that, as a customer I have the right to know what I am paying for. Customer service training is urgently needed.

Outstanding VW Van Repair Service!

I can’t speak highly enough about the service I received for my VW T6 repair. From the moment I walked in, the team was professional, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the issues clearly, provided a fair estimate, and got the work done.

I went to the southampton branch for a new tyre and to sort out a slow puncture on another wheel. They replaced the tyre ok, but said they couldn't remove the other wheel because the locking wheel key and nut were damaged. This surprised me as the key had only been replaced a year or two earlier and had only been used a couple of times. They said they could remove the nut, but would charge 20 quid for doing so and it would destroy the nut. I told them to leave it and would check it over when I got home. When I got home and looked at the key it was totally mashed up, I couldn't believe how bad it was considering it was almost new. Having used the on numerous occasions myself, I know that these keys go on in 3 positions, but 2 of them it only slides on a little bit and only slides on properly in one position. They had clearly put it on in the wrong position and tried to undo it causing it to slip off mashing it up. I phoned up complaining about this, explaining what they had done, but the manager was having none of it. He said one of his best guys did it and he would stand by him as he was so experienced. The guy had clearly not used a mazda key before. He wouldn't entertain the idea of replacing the key, saying it must have been done by someone else. I know this was not true as I had used it myself last and it was OK then. Very poor customer service from the Southampton branch.

Took my car in as it was pulling to the left. Spoke to Mark, very knowledgable. They put the car on there 4 wheel alignment and discovered the rear wheels were out of line. Sorted the problem and the car drives great now.

Never will I go here again, Brought 4 New tires, apparently Good mid range ones, After only 3 days, Had a massive blowout, Tire was completely destroyed, had to go to another garage in Andover, Who couldn’t believe how bad it was, And told me to go and show them, So I did. But they showed no interest atall, Trying to put the blame on me, saying I may have driven over something, Completely laughable. I wasn’t trying to get any money back or anything, just couldn’t understand how this could happen so soon, and I’ve never seen a tire go so bad so quick. But just kept trying to fob me off with ridiculous excuses. I went to the Asda garage afterwards on millbrook road to check the other 3 tires which were all well over the recommended psi, probably what caused my blowout, Please stay away from these cowboys, I’ve been driving for over 25 years and never experienced such bad customer service, I have heard very bad things about this place, but as I only live around the corner I thought I would try them, but never again, Don’t waste your money here.

What a truly refreshing experience, after many disappointing and frustrating encounters with companies which simply do not seem to care about customers. Here the whole time from booking the appointment for my car's work to leaving the car park was positive. The staff and mechanics, even the ones not involved in the work, are smiley and courteous, very helpful and keen to give good advice. The work required was performed to very high standard and very cost effective.
I highly recommend this business.

I arranged a free tracking check. Without being consulted they then adjust the tracking and charged me for it. The figures they gave me afterwards (which they did not explain) showed it was only marginal.
They are more expensive than many for the adjustment so I used them due to the supposed free check.

Excellent service as always. Travel from Poole to Southampton to get my tyres and MOT’s, long way I know but I always get the best prices, service and free coffee.
Highly recommend using the tyre shack.

Used the branch several times, spending in the region of £200 per tyre. 2 rear tyres fitted today, and can't even get the pressures correct, same happened on my last visit too. Had to go to a petrol station to put them right.
Left rear was 37psi, right rear 31psi. I could understand it if they matched but still incorrect pressure, but not even the same each side. Will think about using another company I think.
Oh yes, had to wait nearly an hour too.

I visited today and sadly did not receive the normal high level of customer service at Tyre Shack to which I have become accustomed.

I stood around by reception for two to three minutes without a single acknowledgement from any of the five staff behind the reception desk.

In the past, even when the team has been busy, someone has always acknowledged me waiting and advised that they will be with me in a moment.

To not be acknowledged at all was poor and left me feeling insignificant, of no value and that custom is not important to the business. I simply took my custom elsewhere on this occasion.

very competitive pricing entices you inn however they do like to go over your car for faults ,mine being a 15 year old megane guess what a multiple of faults were discovered all previous advisories and none needing the urgent repairs they suggest ,also tw buckled wheels which have since passed 2 mots be firm and stick to your guns

Needed 2 replacement tyres. Ordered, delivered and fitted on the same day. Excellent customer service with competitive pricing. Complimentary coffee whilst waiting. Highly recommend.

I called these guys Saturday to get price on exhaust was told would get a call first thing Monday morning great service NOT still not call with price

Top guy’s very nice and helpful took my car in for some tyres and found I had a seized Caliper potentially dangerous they took me in the workshop and showed me the Caliper seized car had a mot 2 days before and was not picked up on that (mot was not done here) got it sorted and had a courtesy car for me to use thank you again as I have my family travelling in the car and it could have been dangerous and you spotted it 👍👍👍

I’m a proud anal car owner - Rob is the only person I trust to undertake wheel alignment on my cars. My rare BMW 1M, ultra low mileage e46 M3 and my 330 BMW daily have had tyres and Hunter 4 wheel alignment by Rob in the last 3 months. Both drive like they are on rails!!

My girlfriend drove 150 miles from Torquay yesterday just for Rob to wheel align her BMW 2 series - that’s how great Rob and the whole Tyreshack team are
