Professionalism at its finest

Took my car in for an MOT and a couple of repairs and couldn’t fault the service. The staff were friendly, honest, and explained everything clearly without any pressure or upselling. Work was carried out quickly, prices were fair, and the car was ready when they said it would be. Refreshing to find a proper local garage you can trust. Will definitely be using them again and would happily recommend to others big shout out to the professionalism of mrs Fernandes will definitely be recommending this place to everyone

Worst experience ever

This place is insane. 1 1/2 months almost, still cannot use my tire machine. Missing parts, arrived literally DESTROYED. Took a month to get to me. EVERYONE is named Sean when you call, even a female. Horrible Experience.
I would NEVER buy from them again.
The delivery company they used, told me I had to pick my package up, even tho I was told front door delivery. Eventually he gave up and delivered to my house after my protesting.
Been weeks of complaining, still have no replacement parts that were either broken, or missing during delivery.

This review isn't for Tyres Direct UK, we are a Bristol based vehicle repair workshop, we do not sell Tyre Machines or have any sort of mail order/delivery element to our business, please remove this review?

Thanks

Cant fit a clutch control cable right....

Absoulte scamming shambles...AVOID AT ALL COST ! Car went in for a clutch and flywheel job, paid 1 grand, came out with 2 leaks, starter motor fell out as not put back in right a month later. 6months down the line a pipe in the clutch system came loose and made my pedal useless. I was charged £200 for repairs. Head office offered no compensation and laughed when told the situation and when i threatend to go to the motor trading ombudsman i was ignored and laughed at. When i went to collect my car i had to then jump start my car out the garage with no help from the mechanics when my car had the battery replaced less than 1000 miles before. Paid the bill drove 8.2 miles from the garage and they hadnt fitted the pipe correctly meaning my clutch pedal went again. Luckily the AA roadside managed to repair their issues within 20mins which doesnt add up to the cost they charged me either. The owner refuses to resolve the issue so court it shall be. You'd be better to go and use the monkeys at the zoo to fix your car as these guys are useless con artists.

RIP off,quotes 40 ended up paying 80£

RIP off, quotes 40 ended up paying 80£,update after reading garage excuses, the quote was given there and then and not on the phone, they had the chance to inspect the car before,I think this is a practice they use and I do know a car need a set of brake pads on the front and one on the rear, and I’ve been quoted 40£ for changing the brake pads all around and not just for the front...

Good Afternoon Mr Gherghel,

We are dissapointed you have had a bad experience with us however feel your review/rating isnt fair.
We originally quoted £40 to fit brake pads to your vehicle that were supplied by yourself when you called to enquire.
When you arrived at our branch you explained how you wanted both the front and rear brake pads to be changed of which you were supplying, on this basis we explained this isn't what we understood on the phone and that the charge would be £60, you approved for us to carry out the work.
Once the vehicle was brought into the garage we made you aware that your brake fluid level was dangerously low and would need replenishing in order for us to complete the brake works and ensure that that your vehicle was roadworthy, as before we quoted an addtional £20 for the brake fluid of which you approved making the total bill £80.
We completed the work in a timely manner and for a very reasonable price which we would recommend you check with a 3rd party garage.
In summary we can only offer a set fixed price once we have all the information especially when quoting for brake component work on vehicles as we have a duty of care to you and the other road users

We hope this response and our direct email to you clarifies the circumstances involved in the work we carried out on your vehicle.

Kind Regards
TDUK Office Team

I went into patchway Bristol today with…

I went into patchway Bristol today with a hole in the tyre. 2 men looked at it and said it could not be repaired and needed a new tyre., (the tyre I had was virtually brand new). I left and went to Britannia Tyres who repaired it ! I would have been ripped off with Tyres direct.

Not the best

Not the best. Went in for 4 new tyres and wheel alignment. Tyres were done quite quickly and alignment was completed with an explanation of what correction was required. I was quite happy with the speed but as soon as I got in the car noticed the brand new mats had been made dirty with boot marks all over them. Then when driving away the steering wheel was quite a way off central on the straights, by about 10 degrees. Called up and there was no quibble to correct it but meant having to go back. Got home and checked pressures; all were different and all way off. I could understand if they were all the same pressure but all they were up to 10 psi difference. One valve cap was missing. I always re-torque the wheel nuts and as usual from a garage they were over tightened except one that was barely finger tight. All but one of the dustcaps were missing from the locking wheel nuts. Poor attention to detail and careless operating. Will not be using again.
