Tykr has been a very valuable tool for me over the past year. The filters, recommendations, and “on sale” opportunities helped me make several investments in both my personal and IRA accounts, with surprisingly strong results. I also like that I can import my portfolios and quickly see performance and changing buy/sell signals in one place, which my bank does not offer. On top of that, Sean has been very pleasant and quick to respond whenever I had questions. Highly recommended.

This website fooled everyone who helped to grow through lifetime deals to raise money and continue building.

I signed up as Premium with a lot of promises. Few months later they created a second Premium Plan with a lot of advantages, treating our plan as Basic.

Stay far from them!

I purchased the lifetime deal a long time ago and only came back to it today to see how much it has grown. The fact that it can display the stocks that are on sale and why, their MOS and fair price is a big deal for people like myself who are not traders but a bit of jack here and there, it's really nice to have a starting point as to why something is being pointed at and to take your research bit further from there and then realise that yes, what TYKR has pointed makes sense as they can't be bribed by 10,000 companies to promote their name. Thanks

This is an investor program that is still in development. It funds its start up costs by constantly asking you to upgrade. Here is one sample that ticked me off. I signed up for a "lifetime" deal only to find that this is not the case.

Here is the deal I signed up for April 2023:
"Thank you for purchasing the lifetime deal and welcome to Tykr.
There are 2 items I want to touch on:
1) Rest assured, your plan is a lifetime deal.
2) Your membership is the premium user plan."

Here is the email I received recently:
"Your subscription promo is about to end
Your promo which started on 4th January 2024 and ends on 3rd January 2025 will renew soon. You have an upcoming subscription payment of CA$99.99 which we will attempt on the 4th January 2025."

To be fair I did reach out the their renewal service thru a company called Paddle, who answered my comment by saying that they were just the messenger and had no real answers but that they would forward my concerns to Tykr. So I am hopeful that in fact the renewal was sent to me in error. However my other comments still stand.

There are dozens of investor programs out there. Many priced for the same or less than Tykr which is still very much in development mode. I would choose another one that has been around for many years and has a proven track record.

Update edit, as you can see from their response, bots are alive and well on this platform. I expect more bot communications but will my issue be resolved, of course I am always hopeful.

As a financial professional, I am very aware of the hype and scams that promote quick returns and hot stock picks. I also understand the fear that prevents many people from investing. Tyker is built on solid, long-term value investing principles, similar to those used by notable investors like Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, and Phil Town. Tyker aims to instill confidence in the investment process.

Sean's transparency is key to me with his Weekly Trade Ideas. He gives you his own weekly trades as a case study, which helps you to remember strategic ways of thinking about investing while minimizing your downside and maximizing your potential upside.

I'm relatively new to Tykr and find it incredibly helpful in selecting stocks to invest in. It provides the financial information you need to evaluate the company you are researching in a highly organized way that is easy to understand. What I like about Tykr is that it gives me the same info that Wall Street analysts look at and helps take the emotion out of the decision to buy/not buy a stock. It's not the only source of information that I use when looking at a stock, but it is the first filter I use to decide if the stock is potentially a good investment. It's incredibly well organized, and does the number crunching for you. It also helps identify the best rated stocks to look at which is super important given the volume of information that you would otherwise have to sort through to find them. Another ting that I really like about Tykr is its founder - Sean Tepper. He is whip smart and is totally transparent in his thought process, stock picks, reasoning, and gives you his stock portfolio picks that he buys and sells in real time. So you get to look over his shoulder. This is coupled with something he calls his "Weekly Trade Ideas." This is an email he sends ever week with new stocks that Tykr upgrades and downgrades, the financial changes that may affect values, it gives updates on earning reports, top gainers and losers, most searched stocks, and a news feed that may influence stock price movements. In all, I find Sean and Tykr a real resource to cut down on wasted research time, and boost confidence in my decision making. Bottom line: while I will not purchase a stock just because Tykr says it's a solid investment, I won't buy a stock if it doesn't pass Tykr's screening process.
