Turner Associates Reviews 

After reading the survey done by Colin Turner, there were a few questions we wanted clarity on as we wanted to make an informed decision whether to pull out from the sale. He failed to return our calls. We paid £1,400 for a survey and he didn't even have the decency to call us back so very unprofessional and I do not recommend this company. We had to withdraw from the sale without any clarity at all. I made one more attempt to call him this morning albeit we withdrew but was told he was on holiday for two weeks !

The report was very informative and comprehensive. It contained everything I needed to know, giving me peace of mind when I move, that nothing needs attending to immediately.

Turners surveyed a stone cottage for us. The report was clear and detailed. They also explained the major issues to me. Excellent knowledge of the issues and really helpful. Highly recommended.

We have been very disappointed in the service provided by Turner Associates. Our survey was carried out Monday 5th September and despite our prompt payment upfront they have been much less prompt in drawing up and sending us the report. We told them before making the appointment that it would be a matter of some urgency as I only have a short time in the UK to sell the property and we had thought this was understood. The receptionist is always very polite when contacted but seems unable to obtain a response from the surveyor saying when we can actually have the report. The lack of communication is perhaps the most frustrating aspect of our interaction. I will not be recommending Turner and associates to my niece when she has the survey carried out for my sister's house.

Opening letter which was written in a frightening way by saying these reports are depressing reading. We asked for a home survey we got a significant defects report. As it happens it wasn't a depressing read. We couldn't talk to the surveyor as it was his last day in the job.
On the good side there were loads of photographs which have proved to be very useful.

Colin Turner was extremely helpful and when I explained we were under some time pressure moved the survey forward and completed the report in good time.

Great service as always! Thorough and detailed report, and happy to explain anything I didn’t understand as this house had many issues…
