1. It's not unlimited. Once you hit the limit, it's throttled wayyyyyyyyyy down and you have to just wait a few days to upload more. Do you get more credit for waiting 1 month? No. So you just have to log in all the time and hope you can transcribe what you need. It's limited to 720 hours a month.
2. It can't do more than a 10 hour file. Get our your audio editor if you need something longer.
3. Other AI can do the same for less.
4. They hope you don't look at your CC statement, they won't tell you your subscription is coming to a renewal period, they won't tell you your CC has been charged, and they won't send you a receipt.
5. It's using ChatGTP's engine, so you could just get that subscription and get a whole lot more for $10 more a month.
6. The engine screws up and will transcribe half your audio file with literally zero punctuation. You just have to redo it or have another AI fix it.

Agree with the poor/scam service comments. I have tried to cancel - sent an email last time I was billed which was ignored and now have been charged again! Logging into my account tells me I am on the free service. Next step will be to contact my bank to block them,

I feel really bad for the people who had bad customer service. I paid for the annual subscription. I hope there won't come a time when I have to cancel, but if I do have to cancel, I would hope that the customer service is better by then.

That being said, this software is exactly what I wanted. It transcribes really fast, and as I am a writer, this really helps with the writing process. Instead of me sitting there in Google Docs and dictating everything that I want to write, the software really helps me. It cuts down my writing time tremendously, like almost 70%. I absolutely love it and at the moment I find no faults with it and it is serving me exactly the way I need it to.

Leif Foged is a scammer. He charged my annual subscription for 120 us dollar without consent. When I contact the customer service, he ignored me by sending no replies. I was absolutely angry and I ask for Refund. The portal does not allow me to remove my credit card information. Please dont use this portal for transcription. Thank you.

I have been using Turboscribe since the past 2-3 weeks. So far have had a great experience using this website to convert speech to text.

Pros:
No registration required.
No fuss, simple navigation.
Free 3 scribes per day.
Choice: There are 3 levels of accuracy.

In the speech to text domain this is not bad quality at all. Sure there are other more professional but if you want convenience and simple transcription this wins. You can use it from the phone as well and upload voice notes.

It's a free service and super convenient - I am very grateful.

SCAM. Paid for annual subscription and then subscription was cancelled and blocked. Worst part, there is NO customer support to contact, only an AI email address that itself does not respond. How much more of an online SCAM can this company be.

Terrible translated SRT file generation -- it's almost impossible to understand the generated SRT text -- The generated text (DUTCH), before the conversion to an SRT file is OK, but the final SRT result is bad.

This service of Turboscribe is a scam. The quality of the translation and subscription are of extremely inaccurate and of substandard quality.
Moreover, there is only one person who is supposed to answer to the customer service queries who responds to your emails or NOT. You send multiple emails and then he may respond. I asked for a refund to which he refused. STAY AWAY from this! Use chatgpt, its very good!

This is an awesome app! I'm using it because I'm taking a very intense, very accelerated language course. The class is moving so quickly that I don't always understand all of the concepts. Turboscribe is saving the day!

Very disappointed, l paid for the service and thst service was not offered, Transcript was nonsense. l wrote the customer service but no reply....But money taken.. l used Sonix. l can show you proof of the quality

Very dissapointed - I paid for a feedback session (cost me ALOT of money) and turboscribe only scribed by side of the conversation... So completely lost all the feedback I'd paid this professional for. please feel free to give me a refund turboscribe! not worth the $20 USD

The last five transcriptions were just gobbledygook that as not from my recordings at all. Weird and very frustrating. Not recommended at all.

Scammers dont use they dont have a support number they say its unlimited its not i bought a subscription worked for first day after that they refuse to upload files and they dont have a support for this service

Didn't work. Not only did it not recognise or record any of the meeting apart from what I said, my colleagues could not hear me once I turned it on so utterly useless.

This is the best transcribe website I could find. Loved it! saved me so much time while working on school. It also doesnt just write down stuttering word and keeps de sentences clean. 10/10 100% would recommend

Actually the product Sucks and extremely frustrating to use. I've subscribed to the Unlimited package. It worked for the first few days and thereafter I've been consistently getting 'Try Again Later' messages. I sent an email to support with absolutely no response. They don't have a customer service number listed in google and hence out of Luck and you are on your own. .
