I’m very happy with my dress and my daughters dress! They were custom made for us at no additional price. They fit perfectly! And are so well made! I loved both dresses !!!😁💗😁💛

Poorly made.... looks like a child made my bridesmaid dress. The darts were a half inch off from each other, so the dress looks lopsided. The cap sleeves were supposed to be scalloped... mine look like they were cut with a child's scissors, and someone's teeth by ripping some chunks out. And the edges were unfinished, so it could've snagged on something and be made worse at any time. The buttons down the back were popping off the first time I tried to put the dress on, and they were all sewn in with ONE teeny thread, so when one came off, the rest fell off too. The material is cheap, and it arrived strongly smelling like dead fish. This dress cost me over $150, and I still have to have it tailored, so in the end, it will cost me over $225. And any company that doesn't have Facebook or Google reviews turned on/available clearly isn't reliable. I haven't even bothered emailing them and trying to get a refund or discount, as "Sophia" (or whatever her Chinese name is) has poor communications skills due to the apparent language barrier. Wish the bride would've just used David's Bridal... it all adds up to better in the end. Just ready for this wedding to be over so I can (hopefully... fingers crossed) sell the dress at consignment and get it out of my life. :-/

Since July 13th, I have been consumed in an ongoing battle to receive my money back from this company. I received my refund from the bank, however, this company just charged me again last night for the $187 dress. I have now spent 109 days dealing with Tulle and Chantilly.. and it’s not over. I just spent two hours on the phone with my bank and sending emails showing PROOF of their mistakes. Not to mention, 30 of those days were spent dealing with this stress while I was out of the country getting married and on my honeymoon. This is not what anyone should experience. When you purchase online, the seller has a duty. To FOLLOW their return policy or fix/accept their mistakes. So, I will make this as brief as possible being that I no longer wish to spend any more time and energy than I must on this FRAUDALENT company from China. I am screaming from the top of the Empire State Building saying DO NOT PURCAHSE FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU COULD HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE LIKE MYSELF AND THE REST OF THE BRIDESMAIDS IN OUR PARTY!!!!
First, I was charged $23 more than what my actual cost online was. Their system and my bank account did not match. They refunded me after a week of emails for the $23. Shady.. I thought. But, I caught it and I fought for it. THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IF YOU ARE SCREWED BY THIS COMPANY. FIGHT!!!! Then, the dress arrived in the size for a child. In fact, a twelve-year-old. My niece could fit the arms. A normal human with the matching measurements could not. SIDE NOTE: The ONLY reason we ordered from this company was because we could return them if they did not fit. So, I emailed them immediately and their three day later response was to sell my dress locally or on Ebay. Or, go get it altered. I had already tried, and it would cost $200 dollars for the dress to be completely assembled again and new fabric. That was a big heck no. They do not actually read your emails. They respond around certain words you say and refused to let me return it. They emailed me three times telling me to sell it myself. After not being heard for over a week, I emailed them stating how I would contact my bank and share my story on Social Media. This scared T&C and they decided to still not return my dress but charge me only $80 for my next one. Again, that’s not okay. Your policy states that T&C accepts returns. After a few more emails of me being unhappy and my threats to get them in trouble for being fraudulent, they offered to let me get another dress.
So, they guaranteed this new dress would be in my measurements. I was nervous for this. As one of the bridesmaids ordered a custom sizing dress. This dress came in three sizes bigger than here measurements and she spent over $180 having that one fixed. She provided proof to them and they said they would pay $70 but it never happened. She tried and tried but T&C never did. I agreed to the custom dress as I was leaving the country in a month and would be gone for a month. Until, the day before my best friend’s wedding. But I shared my concerns and asked them to double check the sizing before sending it to me. They also knew the deadline for when I could receive the dress before I left for Iceland. They did not send the dress in time. You know why? Because when they double checked it, it was incorrect and had to be re-made. I was happy they caught that but then the second double check had to be re-made again. But they confirmed it would still make it on time. It did not. My mother checked the dress measurements upon my absence from home. The arms, again, were barely an inch larger than the first incorrect dress. I contact them while I was getting married and trying to be enjoying my time. I did my best, but I was upset and felt completely abused. When you lend your personal information to a site, you expect/deserve your experience to be positive. It is the seller’s duty to own mistakes and make them right. It is not okay that you must beg and fight to get a company to honor their own policy. I had to rush order three dresses to make sure I had one for the wedding. My dress was a completely different color than the rest of the bridesmaids. It was terrible. Kelsey was upset, and I was too. While this is material and at the end of the day, happiness matters. But my best friend had to deal with this stress for months and on her own wedding day. We had to take pictures hiding me specifically to fill the gap of the completely opposite color. It didn’t look good because the color worn by the bridesmaids did not match other colors. At this point, I am extremely numb, and the anger has already been expressed fully. It is probably a good thing that I waited for my anger to fade before I wrote a review. But then, the company took its money back yesterday and reminded me that I can’t stay silent for any longer. I refuse to let anyone else go through what we did. I have watched the comments of people never receiving their dresses for the wedding, sizing being incorrect, and numerous options where the seller was IN THE WRONG. So, please… spend a few extra dollars on another site. The SERVICE is worth it. The QUALITY is worth it. But most importantly, YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH WHAT WE DID!

I ordered a beautiful and well made dress from Tulle and Chantilly. Since I gave myself plenty of time to have this dress come, I had no problem with the time it took to get it. The email correspondence was accurate and personable, with quick responses and answers to questions. The dress fits me wonderfully and will only need to hemmed since all us ladies are going barefoot! I would recommend you give them a try, but I might be as proactive as possible to order your dress with plenty of time. Wonderful experience, thank you!

Very dissatisfied with my purchase. The dress sent to me was not made correctly and did not fit properly. Upon contacting them I had to take pictures of the dress and go through a series of 8 email correspondences just to try to get some of my money back. Even though their site says they will refund you the dress they insisted on suggesting I take it somewhere to get it altered and sending me a new dress when I had already had to purchase another dress for my occasion. I am left with a dress I can't do anything with and lost $61.50 after the refund. I understood that I would need to pay shipping to get it back to them and then get refunded for the cost of the dress ($121.50). I went to get a quote on shipping the dress back and they said it would cost $150. That is crazy. The shipping cost should be similar to what I paid to ship it over ($20). That is very misleading. I was prepared to lose shipping costs which would have put me at a $100 refund (based on $20 shipping rate). So since I can't get the dress back to them, I am stuck in a position where I have to accept a $80 credit, which is all they the manager will offer me. I do not recommend purchasing through this company.

UPDATE: after posting my reviews they agreed to refund the full price of the dress not including shipping. I have seen the refund come through so I am updating my review to two stars, still would not recommend purchasing though them though, maybe only if you are a smaller size - it seems they don't know how to make bigger dresses. :(

I am super happy with my shopping experience on Tulle & Chantilly. At first I was a bit sceptic due to the negative reviews on here. However I decided to give them a go since whenever I contacted them to ask something by email/chat they were always very helpful (Sophie is great and very patient!).
It was very easy to order swatches to see fabric/colour. They also kindly put in some extra ones with my order (I made two orders as I was very unsure about colour) and I happened to choose a colour from these extra ones they put!!
The material and the quality of the dresses are great. I opted for Custom-sized dresses (why wouldn't you when it's free?!!) and the sizes are perfect. Of course, you have to be careful when taking measurements - either follow the exact instructions they have on the website, or else go to someone who knows how to measure well. They also let me buy lining fabric so we could sow my MOH dress ourselves and have it match the exact colour/fabric of the other bridesmaids (she didn't find a dress she likes on their website).
Only negatives I have aren't big deals for me: Processing took a bit longer than expected (2 months including delivery which is not too long when the dresses are custom-made to order), but they knew my wedding is in June 2019 so maybe they had some other orders that needed to be processed quicker! Also, the variety of dresses is not huge when compared to other websites. However I still found the perfect dresses for my bridesmaids - simple and very sexy :)
Overall, I am very happy and I will definitely be recommending this website to other brides! <3

Firstly I must say that when my mom did her measurements and sent them in, the dress arrived a perfect fit. However, I was a bit disappointed with the length of time it took to arrive. Nonetheless I would order from them again as the dress was exactly as it was in the picture.

Tulle and Chantilly is a company that has beautiful bridesmaids clothing. The fabric used is high quality as well. We have had a few problems with the fitting of the dress due to size issues between the company and American measurements of sizes. Be sure to have a professional seamstress take your measurements before you order, and, expect to have some alterations possibly needing to be done. This company gave us some options, but ultimately we needed to have a 2nd dress made. Alterations are still being done for the 2nd dress, but it will fit, finally. Thank you Tulle and Chantilly for trying to help us out.

I reached out to tulle & Chantilly last minute because another company completely ignored me. Tulle & Chantilly were really quick to respond and get my measurements. They even gave me a custom size option for free, which is so so nice! I ordered my bridesmaid dress as a rush order ($20 only!!!!) And they got to me super quick shipping and all. If I had any questions, Sophie was always quick to respond. Not only did the dress come quickly but it is high quality material! It is sewn so professionally and beautifully. Love love love this store. Will buy again!!!!! Thank you!! Highly recommend.

Found this TOO-GOOD-TO-BE-TRUE website to be just that - DON'T DO IT. Seven bridesmaids ordered the same skirt for the same wedding in different sizes and NONE of them fit anybody. ALL OF THEM WERE TOO SMALL and WAAAAYY too long (even for the 6'2" girl) and had to be trimmed and fixed up. The material wasn't worth the money and the hooks were cheap. Tulle & Chantilly got us our dresses in time but it didn't help since we couldn't wear them.

First of all I have to mention the very nice, uncomplicated and fast way of communication. This was very helpful, especially when you are quite nervous as a bride! Also good were the plausibilty checks of the measurements. The fabric and colours were great, much better than expected. The only negative point was that not all dresses fit perfect, but it was easy to change... so not that big issue if you order in time. All in all, we can recommend the side.

Inconsistent and no quality control! Would not let my bridesmaids return their dresses, even though they messed up 2 out of 3 of our dresses. Would not reccomend.

We loved our bridesmaids dresses! They fit beautifully and the color was perfect.

Reviews I read disencouraged me but I decided to order my dress anyways. I was very pleased with an overall experience! Shipping was fast, and the dress quality is great, it fits on my body as if it was made for me. I will definitely order again for another event.

I had a really good experience with my dress. Based on my measurements, I ordered a size up from my usual size. The fit is great. Quality is great. Built in corset is an added bonus I wasn't expecting. My sister ordered a dress too, also one size up, and no problems other than needing it hemmed. I was unaware that the company was not a US-based company, which was a factor when we were looking at ordering dresses online. We lucked out here and are pleased

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I found this company online and LOVED their dresses. They looked so much more beautiful than many other dress companies. Two of my bridesmaids measured themselves and ordered their dresses. Unfortunately, they didn't fit the way they were supposed to, so they emailed customer service to return them and get the next size up.

Sophie has the audacity to suggest that both girls SELL their dress in their local area and they would get 10 PERCENT off the new one.

Unacceptable. I am embarrassed I chose this company for my bridesmaids. I have a bunch of engaged friends and I've warned them all against it.

I love my dress! And more importantly, the bride loves it! Its the perfect color, arrived very quickly (because I didn't do custom, I just ordered a size up from my usual size) I need a hem and a little taken in but that's because I am done nursing my youngest and wasn't sure about the boob situation. It's beautiful and really great quality.

I recently had a dress made for a black tie ball. I chose a custom size (at no extra cost), as I’m an odd shape....

I had very professional communication pre purchase (over chat), then follow up via email. I then received a notification that it had been shipped approx after 1 month after the order was placed.

When I opened the the packaging. It was packed carefully and professionally (it’s a sequined dress).

I tried it on and it was a perfect fit . It was beautiful material. It was better than the photos online. Quality is great, as well as the workmanship (sewing etc).

I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.
