Ordered two 200cm Black Pine Raised…
Ordered two 200cm Black Pine Raised Planters, both arrived with opened boxes. There was no instructions or screws, the wood is poorly painted and had no drainage holes in the base. The live chat is AI and then customer email is also AI pretending to be a lady called Hazel and some invisible manager is going to help me. I’ve had to spend £15 on hardware to build these so I haven’t wasted £320 on some cheap bits of wood. The quality is 3/10 for the price, you also need to drill pilot holes in the long sides.

Poor returns policy
Ordered planter in error black should have been gray to match all other planters received from them Ordered replacement which is great like all other planters .however returned black planters had to pay £11 to return overnight dpd followed instructions amozan confirmed return just keep getting messages for more information re sending return no refund revived if you want to return don't bother unless you can devote a day to answering messages great product poor return policy don't bother until they change

I tried to contact both companies, neither making it easy. What absolutely disgusting customer service. One star is too generous

As soon as we became aware of the error, we immediately asked The Range to correct it, which meant we had to cancel and refund your order.

Item arrived not packaged at all and despite it being a large item I would have thought it would have been wrapped to protect from shipping, therefore it sustained scratches and knocks upon arrival …disappointing

Great looking, a little fiddly
Overall, I'm happy with the product. I saw it in use at RHS Wisley and decided I wanted to use it create patheways and raised borders in my own cottage garden. The finished look is great and aesthetically I'd recommend this product. The ordering process was easy and delivery was made within a week of ordering. Putting it together for long stretches and molding it to create curves was OK, a little fiddly but manageable. There were a couple of pieces where the holes and tabs didn't line up, so they couldn't been joined together, which was disappointing for a 'premium' product, as it left me with a couple of single pieces I can't really use.
