What a scam
What a scam! I planted 3 different bulbs/starts - 35 total. 3 starts grew leaves. Hope the tulip bulbs I'm planting now do better. But l will never order from this company again.

Another Dissatisfied Customer
Add me to the long list of folks who are disappointed in Tulip World. I made an order of bulbs and daylilies a month ago. Half the items have begun growing, but the rest are still not showing any signs of growth. I've tried to email them, no response. I've tried their chat during business hours, it kicks out and tells me to try again during business hours. I've tried calling, and have been told my call is important to them. No call back. The one stellar grower in the mix were the Calla lily bulbs advertised as a mix of whites, yellows, oranges, and reds. They're all yellow. All five. I wish I had stumbled across this site before I placed my order. I would have stuck with buying locally.

I received an order that was terrible
I received an order that was terrible. Lily bulbs were not only short, but rotten. Some had already sprouted and died, while others had sprouts up to 12” long and twisted in circles so they could not grow. The company requested I send pictures, which I did. It’s been silence. No reputable company would have mailed rotten bulbs. Their site guarantees 100% growth. That’s definitely dishonest advertising.

I had some non bloomers but they refuse…
I had some non bloomers but they refuse to answer my request to consider a refund or exchange. They also mailed me a bad bulb and I asked to have it replaced and they absolutely refused. Of course it didn’t bloom. I will not use them again.

Ordered 5 clematis vines, all dead but one
***Update: Finally heard from them only after I posted this review. They are only sending one replacement and not refunding my money for the other items. Only store credit or I can wait a whole year to get what I ordered. Why would I want to order more items when most everything I ordered was dead. Now they aren't responding to emails again. I want my money back so I can buy my vines elsewhere before everything is out of stock.**** Ordered 5 clematis vines from them. All but one showed up looking brown and black. I assumed it was because they were dormant. So I planted them all right after I received them and nothing. I have reached out to the company several times and no response. I then contacted a chat associate and was given another email address to send pictures of the dead vines. Still no response. I wasn't even asking for a refund, just replacement for healthy plants. I bought trellises for all the vines and now I have nothing to grow on them and it's too late to order elsewhere.

After reading the bad reviews on this company, I feel inclined to write a review myself.
I just ordered a set of three Calla Lilies. Paid with my Visa. This is the suspicious part. I did not received an acknowledgement of my order through email. This is the customary way of doing online business. My card has already been charged.
I left a message with my concern. No answer. It´s been only 24 hours, but they have my money...I dońt have a receipt of payment from them, nor a time of shipping.
Unfortunately, this has happened to me in the past with another company. I recognize the method of operation...I will take it up with my bank card company. This company, Tulip World, will not be paid...

Ordered the multicolored Cala lilies, and was to receive five bulbs
Received three bulbs in great condition one in OK condition and one that was dead
I’ve been reaching out to this company now for the week and a half since I’ve received my bulbs to have no emails returned, tried online chat and was disconnected and had to leave yet another email
As a first time customer very disappointed because the quality is not great and their customer service is impossible
6.8.21 - they finally responded and she a new set of bulbs - these were received today and look worse that the ones I received that did not bloom.
Impossible to get a hold of and crappy product - Buyer Beware

I ordered 4 sea holly plants and two others. out of the 4 sea hollys, one bag had no bulb in it and in two others, the roots were rotted. one plant was ok. very disappointed!

Fair enough
The canna rhizomes I received where the incorrect variety. However they politely explained to me that the mixup was with the grower and they did honor their guarantee by refunding me the full purchase price. I plan to give the company another go in the near future.

My Sad and Happy Tulip World Experience
First time ordering bulbs from Tulip World last October 2020. I love their price and the decent bulb size.
However, there's one variety that grew poorly, stunted growth I'd say. I notified them and it took days before I got a response. We agreed to get merchandise credit because I can't return a product that's already in the ground for months and also don't want to wait until fall this year to get the replacement. I'm a patient person so I don't mind waiting for days as long as they mean what they say regarding my order issues. And so they gave me a merchandise credit plus free shipping because of the inconvenience. From my experience, I just had to ask if I will get a free shipping when I use my credit (since I already paid for it when I bought it last year), and I'm glad I asked because I just used my credit today and applied the code they gave me for free shipping. I only paid half of the total amount I'm supposed to pay.
Every customer has different shopping experience and each have the right to complain and get their money worth. But if the customer complains and demands as if he's like a king/queen, then there's also something wrong about him. That's why they have Customer Services to fix the issues. I guess, we all just have to be a little bit more understanding and patient at this time where everything moves so slow.

Terrible company: I only received half of my dahlia order; they are dry, damaged, tiny bulbs, not sure any of them will grow. Sent email few times asking about missing plants - no response...
Disgraceful!

The worse ever
The worse ever! I finally received my order of which I had to constantly call. Placed in Feb 2021 4 items $48.
Tubers completely dry, two little 1inch twigs for clematis and for the caladiums type bulbs dry... I'm appalled. I took photos. I planted them just for fun to see if they will grow. I wouldn't recommend procuring from the place dont waste your hard earn $$.

I wish I read reviews first I order actaea narcissus label on the packaging also was actaea narcissus but in the spring when they bloom it was regular yellow daffodils
so I called customer service I was told this happens sometimes
I was asked to provide order number and pictures of daffodils and someone will get back to me . Few days later I called again and this time I was told I have to wait until Fall. Very disappointed Don’t waste your time and money with this company!

Update: After my review I immediately received a response from Tulip world asking that I email them with my order information and issue so they could resolve it. Great. I did. I emailed them. They never got back to me. If I could drop my one star review to zero I would. HORRIBLE customer service!
Like others I wish I had read the reviews first! Ordered Ranuncula bulbs. Was sent yellow daffodils instead. Wrote them several times asking for a refund or partial refund. Absolutely NO response. Not even an acknowledgment. Horrible service. Would NOT recommend!!!

Mixed bag experience
Mixed bag experience. I have ordered quite a bit from Tulip World: Anemone, Bleeding Hearts, Sea Holly, Daffodils, Amaryllis, and Hyacinths. In my first order, the Anemone were the wrong color. They sent replacements which just arrived (a year later) for planting. Hopefully they are the right color this time.
The bleeding hearts arrived broken and never came up. Sea Holly looks great. The next year I ordered the Daffodils, Amaryllis and Hyacinths. Amaryllis arrived very dormant and didn't bloom until nearly 2 months after Christmas. Hyacinths look great, no complaints about those. But they once again shipped the wrong product on the daffodils. I now have ONE HUNDRED of the wrong daffodil. and I can't dig them up without damaging other bulbs. They only offer replacements (to be sent this fall, and who knows if they will be right) or store credit. Why would I want to order more? Now knowing what the heck they'll actually send? Even though I did receive some good products from them, I'm done ordering from Tulip World.

Don't Buy!!! Ordered 6 items only 1 survived!!! Talked to Customer Service with Mickey. 100% guarantee is a joke... They refuse to help me since I order it last year. Makes no sense if they died!!!
