Pay to Bring Your Own!

We had a meal at the Tuk Tuk restaurant, Newtownards, Co. Down on Sat 13 Sept 2025.
It is a 'Bring Your Own' alcohol restaurant so I brought my two beers and opened these myself during the meal.
The meal was very tasty, small portions yet quite expensive, ie: Mains £16.50 to £21.00, Small side of Egg Fried Rice £4.50 and small Salt & Chilli Chips £6.00!
The chicken was very thinly sliced and would equate to approx. 1/3 of a fillet. Lots of veg added.
The Thai Crispy Shredded Beef was more batter than beef!
Tasty but yet disappointing.
Then the bill! £1.75 "corkage" added on for opening each bottle of beer myself, so a £3.50 charge for bringing and opening my own beers! Just outrageous!
Simples.......will NOT be returning.
