TubeMagic’s Shady Marketing – False Trial, Hidden Charges

I signed up for TubeMagic, thinking it would be a good SEO tool for YouTube. They advertised a 7-day trial for just $1. However, as soon as I paid with my card, a pop-up appeared, stating that I needed to pay an additional $47 to write scripts or use the app. Even though the 7-day trial isn't over yet, they are still asking for the $47 to access TubeMagic. I find this to be a dishonest practice. It feels like deceptive selling on the part of TubeMagic, so beware! They seem to prioritize making money over providing real value. This is a shady business practice!

Disappointed

Be wary of the all the affiliates on YouTube pushing this sub-par tool. I recently signed up to the 7 day free trial after being initially impressed by the affiliate demo and I have to say I was a little disappointed when I came to use it for my own purpose.

Script generator was basic, I had a much better experience just using Chat GPT or Claude.

I've instead signed up to VidIQ which I think is a lot better value for money, better UI, and more granular around researching competitors and keywords. TubeMagic is just too basic and the monthly price tag just doesn't warrant spending an extra 2-3 mins using Chat GPT or Claude to refine what you need to do around refining scripts, generating video descriptions and tags etc.

As the other review pointed out, I had given my card details for the $1 7 day subscription but there was no option to cancel my trial and opt out of the renewal. I had to instead contact Digistore (the Sales platform) which took my initial payment to stop them from autorenewing which is just an extra hassle as there's no way to do it from the billing section on the TubeMagic site.

Tl;dr - The tool is basic and isn't really needed to grow your channel. VidIQ is much better. Opting out from your subscription is a pain.

What can I say...

What can I say? Matt's course has people waste 20x the amount of time, uses 2x the amount of resources, and doesn't give a quick roadmap to reach success unlike the information I can provide.

NOT TO MENTION, he reached out to me through Facebook roughly 3-4 months ago and gave me someone else's contact information which HE PROMISED would get my CHANNEL MONETIZED. I PAID the $1600 he asked for, and the price went up to $1900.

The payment was through PayPal, but the guy Matt referred me to had his account restricted. hmmm tell me more matt why is it restricted?

Sure, I appreciate you for doing what you did, but You didn't have to support me with $300; however, the fact remains WHEN AM I GETTING MY CHANNEL MONETIZED?

Please for the love of god DO NOT TRUST HIM he tells you one thing then does the complete opposite.
If your wanting a quick roadmap to success on YouTube seek me out via Facebook

I recently signed up for the trial…

I recently signed up for the trial version of this tool, hoping it would meet my needs. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing as the tool's functionality was basic and didn't perform as expected. After the 7-day trial period, I logged back into my account, only to find that I was unable to access any features except the subscription page, which continuously prompts me to purchase their $47 plan.

Despite having attached my card during signup with only $2 on it, there is no option to exit the subscription page or remove my card information. This forced approach to payment is highly frustrating and misleading. I advise others not to fall into this trap. Proceed with caution.
