I own several domains, within a few hours each of these domains received threatening letters stating that the websites are using images stolen from tshirtsuperstar.

They link the image you are accused of stealing, however the image is not visible in my region. For most this would be a rather scary prospect, an international lawyer threatening to take you to court over an image you are unable to confirm.

I have a VPN so after trying a few countries, managed to view the image. It is nothing like any image ever used on my website.

They are clearly using a script to scrape website urls, find contact details and send these scary threatening emails.

Sending scam emails for website promotion. Here is that scam email:

Dear owner of {website},

You are receiving this legal infringement notice from Nationwide
Legal Trademark Department due to the unauthorized usage of our client's
image.

The use of this image : {url to image} on this page
: {reported page}
is fine, as long as our client (Tshirt Superstar - Music) is fully
credited.

The credit must appear under the image or the footer of the page and
be clickable to tshirtsuperstar com/collections/music-tshirts-online
within 5 working days. We await your response to confirm this has been
completed, removing the image does not resolve the case.

Failure to do so in this time frame, will result in legal case (No.
53773) proceeding under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act's Section 512(c)
(" DMCA") for past and or current usage.

Past usage of the image can be seen in the records on Wayback Machine
( web archive org) - a permanent public archive of the web, which
will be called upon as evidence in this case.

This email serves as the required official notice.
